A tiny kit around the age of four moons stumbled around the woods. It's fur was tangled and dirty and it's eyes were cloudy. The kit was weak and was abandoned by its mother for having the strange obsession of wearing flower crowns and having a short bobcat-like tail. She said that the kit looked ugly, and that she did not want to take care of it anymore. It had been wandering around for a few moons at this point, and It's ribs were visible through its fur, as well as a clip in it's ear. It mewed for help in a weak, raspy cry, and eventually collapsed onto the ground, weak and dehydrated.

Snowpaw walked around the forest, blind eyes darti around. She was looking for herbs for Honeyshade when she scented cat. She walked towards it and nudged it. A kit. Alone. In the forest. She picked it up and walked back to camp.

The kit put up no fight, just hung limply in the strangers jaws. She closed her eyes and her ears drooped, malnourished and close to death.
