Copperpaw peaked into the nursery. They shivered, overcome by nostalgia. They used to be in here, not to long ago. They sat themselves in a corner and purred, watching Beekit and Alpinekit play. Their eyes mainly watched Alpinekit. The little bundle of fur would make a great apprentice. "If Bumblestar allows it" they reminded themselves.
Alpinekit got off the moss-ball and didn't notice Copperpaw going in. She passed the ball to Beekit by kicking it with her right forepaw. Alpinekit was assured by Wolfpaw that she did not have to worry about being a warrior.

Copperpaw pipped up, adressing the kits playing mossball. "Hello kits." They meowed, tail raised high. "My name is Copperpaw, as you should already have heard." They paused for a second, looking at the kits with one eye open before continuing. "What are your guys names?" They asked, their tail curling into a question mark
Boredom. Frogkit was reallyyy bored. All his friends were asleep, but he couldn't nap. He was rolling around in his scrambled, mossy nest when he randomly took a piece and rolled it into a ball. Mossball! His second favorite. Mmm, actually, he was too tired. Maybe a little chit-chat could make him go to sleep.
He approached one of the few cats still awake. "Hi! How's it going... er... what's your name?" Frogkit said. Maybe he could make a friend. [ @starry - Maplekit ]

The tabby apprentice sat down, ready to retell the story. Admittedly, it was only a few days ago...but the kits didn't need to know that. They already racked their brain for anything to tell the kit and his punishment didn't seem like a good option...for right now.
" First I was in camp and I was waiting for my mentor, Aldercry." They wondered where was Aldercry, they hadn't heard from them in a while. " But then I saw Whiteriver and he took me to the Thunderglade!" Copperpaw paused for the intense affect, eyeing the kit for their reactions.
