Burningkit - A nonbinary tortie with amber eyes - 2 moons - It/its
Burningkit sniffed Maggotkit's ''corpse''. "You don't seem very dead to me" It muttered, a bit gruffly. The tortie gently pawed Maggotkit's chest, as if trying to ''wake it up''.

"Shush!" Maggotkit retorts, finally growing impatient enough to give up the act. The dead kitten reanimates miraculously, pushing itself upright with a peevish look aimed at Burningkit as it bats away the stranger's paw.
"Well," it says, slow and contemplative. It can't think of a way to talk itself to victory; its brains are maybe still a little scrambled from getting a good smack. Maggotkit sniffs. "You took too long. I bet that fox is done eating Duckthroat. You lose." So, there!
Maggotkit stands up, side-eyeing the younger kit and keeping a cautious distance (ha—it usually isn't so precious about personal space) as it slinks around the tortoiseshell, moving to inspect its nest, instead. Maggotkit sniffs at the moss, eyeing the little bed up curiously. It starts moving to clamber on in.
"I'm going to sit in here, too," it says bluntly. "Share, okay?"
Despite its new itty bitty injury and the decidedly awful temperament of this other kit (no, it's probably because of those things), Maggotkit seems intent on sticking around and pushing buttons.
Leopardsong
The molly laughed in response to the kit's playful paw swings and the delighted noise. "Haha! Well, aren't you a feisty one?" Leopardsong pressed her muzzle against the kitten's tiny paws. Her copper eyes lit up as she noticed his eyes peeking open they were pretty yellow.
"Look at you, you'll be walking and causing trouble with the rest of the kits in no time." Leopardsong purred.
"Oh, I hope you're better behaved than most kits. It'd be nice if some of the kits had a good role model to follow. Although, I suppose since you're one of the youngest here you'll be following the older kits." She meowed with a frown. "Please, don't pick up their bad habits, Cottonball." Leopardsong meowed nuzzeling the kitten.
She was drawn to Burningkit and Maggotkit as she heard the two bickering. She hadn't a clue about what but Maggotkit was yowling about something Burningkit had done. "Maggotkit and Burningkit if you two can't play together you'll be separated," Leopardsong warned eying the two kits.

Cottonkit felt swathes of happiness wash over him as Leopardsong pressed her warm muzzle against his squirming paws. Although he couldn’t quite understand what she was saying, he got a sense for it. He’d grow up to be just as big and as strong as everyone else.
This cat was just what he needed to help him, as tiny as he was he felt the full weight of his trust lie in her gentle meows and kind touches. Right then and there he promised he’d do her proud. Be the cat even his real mama would be proud of, even if she never even knew his name.
Cottonkit.
Cottonkit the bold. A tiny smile curled over his lips as he gurgled with delight.

Burningkit's anger flared up again. It glared at Maggotkit through the corner of its amber eyes, before it turned its nose up and walked away. "Hmph! Got no time for a mousebrain!" It said in an almost mocking tone, almost comical to hear due to its kit voice. But Burningkit was absolutely serious!

Next to Willowpaw stood a kit with some ThunderClan smell on him, as well as ShadowClan smell. He had blue eyes and a long and damp fur sticking to its skin, making his ribs visible. He wasn’t in this clan before, that’s for sure. Ashkit seemed to have around three to five moons. He payed attention to his breath before talking, to avoid stammering.
“Hello” he said. That was a good start. “I’m Ashkit” added the kit.
Oh! Maggotkit flinches, hearing its name. It blinks, nods, and warbles a quick "So–oorry."
It isn't sorry, of course, but it knows that it had better shape up. Burningkit's running off, now—that has Maggotkit on the verge of another angry yell because hey, it didn't say the other kit could go and be done, yet! It sits up straight, scowling. Ohhh...it doesn't want to risk trouble but it doesn't want its new toy to just walk away like that, either.
Maggotkit waits a moment. Some newcomer is coming in, something else for Leopardsong to see to. It climbs out from the nest and creeps after Burningkit, determined.
"I'm not 'mousebrain'. I'm Maggotkit." It seems less bothered by the insult than it is about simply being called the wrong thing. "I'm done with it. Your nest I mean. You're not fun." It sticks its tongue out. Litte liar; if Maggotkit wasn't having any fun then it wouldn't insist on following Burningkit around like this. But now, it's probably time to beat a tactical retreat. Maggotkit steps off, giving Burningkit its peace back.

Finally, some peace. Burningkit briskly walked away, and went on with its usual kit stuff, nothing out of the usual. Just playing with a moss-ball by himself. Maggotkit no longer exists for Burningkit, it doesn't care about that mousebrain.

Leopardsong
Her copper hues watched as Burningkit disengaged in whatever scabble they had been in with Maggotkit. The tiny sounds coming from Cottonkit drew her attention back to him. She had no clue what he was saying if anything. With his eyes open, though, he should be able to get the hang of talking very soon. Leopardsong's never been given a kit this young to look after so she wasn't certain when he'd get the hang of the walking and talking.
"I should enjoy this while it lasts. Soon enough you'll be off running around on your own." The queen smiled down at the kitten. The cats that entered the nursery drew her attention, more so when her name was called. The white bengal lifted her tail high to catch Willowpaw's attention after the call.
"Another one? You guys are just popping up like daisies." The molly locked eyes with the scrawny blue-eyed kitten near Willowpaw. He was older than baby Cottonball, but still a kit himself. A kit sorely in need of a good meal. Leopardsong tentatively reached out with her nose once the kitten was close enough so she could give him a few curious sniffs. He smelt like the other clans mixed with an outsider. It was not a pleasant scent.
The pregnant feline carefully moved around in her nest, making sure she didn't squish Cottonkit, to sit up. "Hello Ashkit, I'm Leopardsong. This little cottonball," she gently poked Cottonkit's belly as she spoke, "Is Cottonkit. He's new to the clan like you. I'm sure you'll both become fast friends." She mewed sweet as honey.
"So while you're here, you're one of my kits. So I'll take care of you and answer any questions you have. But first, you need a bath and get some food in you. So come here," The queen beckoned the kitten into her nest so she could groom him. The other kits might complain if he continued smelling as he did, it wasn't a pleasant scent for those who were only used to WindClan's scent. "Careful not to step on Cottonkit." She added, coiling her tail around the younger kit.
"Willowpaw if you have time could you grab Ashkit something small to eat? If you can't, I can do it later."
