a sudden voice almost had peonyraven jumping out of their fur, head quickly turning to face the cat who had rudely decided to sneak up on them. oh, wormbite. the question made them raise a brow, curious as to why the oriental would ask that question. did they look dejected or something? either way, at least wormbite asked and wouldn't have left them to mope alone. cute.

"i'm just fine, wormbite." he answered, eyes narrowed in slight amusement. "you know, you should really announce your arrival next time. you almost scared me out of my pelt by sneaking up on me like that." he advised with a small click of his tongue. though, they couldn't tell if the shield was awkward or was just hesitant to ask if they were alright..maybe he wouldn't do so well with making his presence clear. they briefly pursed their lips.

"are you alright?" peonyraven asked after a second or two of silence, the sound of waves filling it in. wormbite had probably thought they were upset, staring at the waves all by themself, unless that was just his odd way of starting a conversation. they wondered if he was upset. (or, perhaps he just liked the waves too. that would be nice.)

Steamtail muttered `Right,we are here.` He looked around and saw no Stoneclaw `I told him we were going!` He hissed under his breath and flattened his ears `It's plentiful today.` He muttered again before starting to hunt.
