Bri giggles as her sister butts heads with her, grinning widely. She's always more outgoing when she's with Rose and it's a nice feeling, one she doesn't usually have.

"I missed you too! I've been good, and guess what...?" She pauses for dramatic effect, her tail swishing playfully behind her, "A mate! Of all the cats, I have a mate! Oh! I made friends too, and an apprentice! Though she's a bit... temperamental- still! To be trusted with one of the clan's future warriors! I was so surprised when it was announced- and ridiculously nervous- I almost had a panic attack actually! But it's okay because I just thought of what Acornfall would do- he's my mate by the way! It's crazy how social and kind he is to everyone, and- oop! Sorry, overshare!"

She hops happily, shuffling her paws as she waits for her sister's response. Now that she's said it out loud it's a bit embarrassing actually, perhaps more than a bit. Like, she sounds like a little kit, gushing about all new friends she made. Especially when she started rambling about Acornfall- thinking about what she just said making her flush as red as a strawberry. Her plumed tail wraps around her hind leg, a habit she's developed lately when she's nervous or feeling awkward. Honestly it's a bit comforting. The lithe calico waits a moment before realizing, oh! She hasn't asked Rose about how she's been! Stars above, how rude!

"Oh! What about you Rose? What's been going on with you?" She queries, her voice a cheerful hum.

He smiled as an apprentice came up to him, it seemed like his strategy worked! "Hi! You're...Flickeringpaw right?" He asked, tilting his head. He hadn't spoke to the apprentice before so now's a good time to talk. He patted to a spot near him with his tail before brushing it back over his paws. "Feel free to sit by me! I don't bite." Nectarpaw waited until they decided where to be before continuing. "Is this your first gathering?"

Flickeringpaw puffed out her chest with pride. “Correct! Flickeringpaw’s my name! I was apprenticed to Lichenshock at the last meeting,” A playful grin spread on her maw at his jokes. “Phew! I’m rather glad you don’t bite, because it looks as if others will!”

He chortled at the comment. "The other clan's aren't quite as bad as they look." He remembers the two friendly apprentices he met during his first gathering. "Except Bumblestar maybe, she looks a bit angry." he leaned in to whisper that. He didn't want Thunderclan warriors starting a fight over what he said.

Nectarpaw leaned back and twitched his whiskers. "How's training going so far?" He hoped at least this apprentice had a mentor, Lichenshock she said, who made sure to pay attention to them. Unlike his old ones.

ohhh, two cats!! she's talking to two cat! mantispaw and cricketpaw, who, by the sounds of it, are siblings. and their father is the deputy of thunderclan?! their aunt is the leader?! this information is almost too much for egretpaw to process, simply because it's so awesome. well, maybe a little scary too. according to mantispaw, her papa can be pretty scary.

"WHAT THE HECK!!!" she squeals, eyes wide as she blinks repeatedly. "no way, that's awesome!! heya, d'ya think miss bumblystar could be my aunt, too? crowtooth can be your uncle!" she wonders, glancing between the two curiously. this miss bumblystar - er, bumblestar? she's not sure! anyway, this miss bumblystar seems and looks pretty cool. hopefully mantis and cricket doesn't mind sharing. "'nd yeah, it's freezin'!! I heard it's only gonna get colder, did ya know that? allll they way 'til, uh...what's it called..oh! newleaf comes, mhmm." she informs, teeth chattering as she scoots closer to the two apprentices.

she cants her head at the question regarding windclan. "aahmm.. pretty good! what 'bout thunderclan?" she pauses, wondering if she should talk about that whole rebellion thing, but ultimately decides against it. "how long have you guys been apprentices? me and my brothers were just named 'em this past meetin'! I got a big ol' guy named batglare as my mentor."

Vinesmoke followed the pack of his clan towards the gathering he was a bit excited which was unusual for him though now he was glad for the distraction he had been pushing his grief aside he had gotten an apprentice which was unexpected but he was also excited for the opportunity he had hoped to show his apprentice the ropes of gatherings but he couldn’t seem to find her oh well he would keep his eyes open as he took a seat near the middle.

"Thunderclan is super duper cool! Sometimes they hold these fun events. But most I could barely go to because I was a kit. They did like extra training!" What else... Cougarpaw stood tall, his yellow eyes glowing with a calm intensity that seemed to make the night air feel even stiller. He didn’t rush, didn’t need to. He watched Salamanderpaw pace and lash out with her words, the anger practically sizzling off her fur. And as she continued to get herself worked up, Cougarpaw didn’t flinch. He didn’t break a sweat. He didn’t care. He had all the time in the world. “You’re funny, you know that?” he said with a lazy smirk, his voice cool and easy, as if they were talking about the weather. “You think you’ve got me rattled, but I’m not going anywhere, Salamanderpaw. You’re gonna have to try a lot harder than that.” He stretched, long legs extending with slow, deliberate grace, as if he were simply bored and waiting for something to happen. His yellow eyes never left hers, glowing with a quiet kind of certainty. Patience—that’s what made him special. He didn’t need to rush into anything. He knew that the right moment would come. He was a ThunderClan cat, yes, but he was built for more than just charging headfirst into a fight. He was the kind who bided his time, calculated his moves, and when the time was right? He would strike. "Here’s the thing,” he continued, voice unbothered, still studying her. “You’re all fire and fury, but you’re running out of fuel, and I’m still here. No matter how much you fume, how many insults you throw, I’m still gonna be standing.” He chuckled softly, stepping a little closer, his movements slow and easy. "See, the thing you don’t get is that it doesn’t matter how many times you snap at me or how many sharp words you throw my way. I’m not going to be the one to lose my head."

He leaned in a little closer, his expression shifting to something just a shade more serious, but still utterly controlled. “Patience is what makes me special, Salamanderpaw. I don’t get dragged into things I don’t need to be a part of. I wait for the right moment, then I make my move. And when I do, you won’t even see it coming.” Cougarpaw’s smirk returned, the cocky confidence settling back into his posture like a comfortable cloak. “So, you can keep barking at me all night, if it makes you feel better. But I’m not in any rush. Not until you give me a reason to be.” He watched her for a long moment, letting the silence stretch between them, enjoying the fact that he didn’t need to do anything. Not yet. Patience was a strength, and he was in no hurry to prove it.
