MA'AT

Ma'at, a young cat of only 5 moons longs for the day she becomes an Initiate. Coming from a linage of strong Atari cats, she can come across as a little too proper. Head held high, she makes her way over to Brutus. Ma'at can see her opportunity to learn from the Claw. She tries to hold her composure, but her child trait starts to shine. Eyes gleaming, she's curious about the cougar incident.

"Hi, Brutus," she purrs, approaching the Claw. "Was there a cougar? Was it big? Can I hear a story?"

the molly walked by Altair looking down at them " up me you hunting lets go she said trying not to be too brash with her words but the Atari could use some food to eat and it was a good way to get a tribe mate moving, but if they didn't want to she would just ask another

May as well get the bad news done sooner rather then later…”The cougar, thank the spirits, is gone. Dead.” the Crown stated triumphantly. He was proud it was at his own claws. The thing was pinned down and limp due to the rocks crushing it, but he got to dig his claws though it’s throat…even if it wasn’t in fighting condition, he did it. He made up for Saturn…for Nyx even. “We…we faced two losses in the fight. Crow, a respectable Claw, n’ Feather, a Trapper.” he announced, his proud voice turning into one more sympathetic. “Every cat who knew them and is above the age of six moons, or wishes to pay respect, please rest up so you can join myself and Brutus at sunset to go bury them.” he looked for his Claw (of the Crown) among the crowd, before giving a small nod to her. “The full moon is in three nights. I will be heading to Glimmerall then to officially make Brutus the Claw of the Crown, and she will be accepted by the spirits.” Hopefully…he didn’t see why they wouldn’t accept her.

His gaze sought out his own cousins among the crowd, as they would be (according to tradition) accompanying them to Glimmerall. “Bluebird (@/sleepyyjax), Camilla (@/Morrigan). If you two do not mind, you will be coming along.” A keeper and their new Healer…not the most secure group. “I will permit two claws and a single initiate along. Do not yell out in hopes to join. See me after the meeting.” He decided it was important for one of their younger to see the tradition.

“Now, we are cured of our disease as well, thanks to the outsider. If anyone proceeds to have symptoms, let Blood or Camilla know.” There wasn’t anything else to say. No ceremonies…disappointing. With the cold there, they needed as many strong cats as possible. “Dismissed.” he flicked his tail and turned around, limping his way off the spire and down to the clearing.

So that was it. They'd defeated it. The Atrai's turbulence would finally be over, she hoped. It was weird, it all finally ending. They'd return to normalcy, she supposed. She really wasn't sure how she was to fit into that. She still felt stuffed out of place.

Then the Glimmerall. Brutus' role would become official. Hmm. She licked her paw, swiping it over her head in one smooth motion, until she heard her name called. How could she forget? Finally. She'd get to see the Glimmerall again. It had been far too long. And she'd be with Camilla! She dipped her head to Ares and Camilla in acknowledgment.

Her enthusiasm dimmed for a minute. Was that all that was left of her family? Her head swung around The Atari, trying to spot any others. No... She knew she'd closed herself off lately, but there was no way they had simply vanished... Right? She knew some deaths were inevitable, with the illness and all. But... Skrill? It was true, she was nowhere to be seen.

Good news, first. The announcement of the cougar's death almost prompted a smile of relief, but Camilla, still grieving losses could only look on. The mediocre amount of satisfaction the vanquishment of the beast brought her could not numb the effects of her loved ones deaths. Nyx and Saturn. Her sister and her friend. Gone. But how else could they bring about vengeance? Nothing could ever bring them back and no punishment would suffice.

The multicoloured healer solemnly bowed her head as the losts were mentioned. Two more gone...terrible. How could one bloodthirsty creature take so much? It would never steal life away from the Atari again. Tufted ears perked as her name, along with her cousin, Bluebird's were called. So it was time to make the trip to Glimmerall..truth be told Camilla was unsure. Unsure about everything, really, but more precisely the ceremnony. Would Ares be accepted? They could only hope he was seen as worthy.

Offering Bluebird a soft smile in return to the nod, the pretty molly approached Ares. "We should be quick. We want to reach Glimmerall before snow sets in." She mumured, subtle nervousness in her tone. If they got caught in a blizzard then that would do no one any favours. The sooner Ares officially became crown, the better. The Atari deserved stability after all that had happened...

He purred, smiling, his tail lashing languidly as he eyed Brutus

His soft, melodic voice purred soothingly as he flicked his tail against Ares'

His blue gaze turned to the tom who approached him as he spoke. His gaze followed to Brutus as Rook looked, then trailed back to the half-and-half Claw. He nodded his head in thanks, though a plain expression remained on his face…more like tough. “Thanks. I’ve already been accepted, now it’s Brutus’ turn.” the full moon was tonight. It was time, they would do this. Hm…he had no volunteers, now that he thought of it, “Rook. Could you accompany myself, Brutus, Camilla, and Bluebird to the Glimmerall for the ceremony? I’ll get you when we leave.” Sure, it was a question…but was he really asking? Probably not.
