Mistfire smiled with amusement before turning back to the water "So firstly when catching a fish we need to be very quiet and very still so we don't scare the fish we also need to keep our shadow away from the water" she told her daughter quietly and straightened herself so she wasn't leaning over the water.

Tigerpool soon managed to catch a fish, setting it down before dipping her paw back into the water.

Rabbitkit and Blossom both listened to Mistfire, both dipping a paw into the water when their mother dipping her paw into the water again after setting her fish down.

Wishkit listened to Mistfire, but was too scared to dip a paw into the water. @The Doctor @Snowyfeathr

Mistfire watched the water with calm focus keeping her shadow off the water and waited for a fish as soon as she saw a shadow in the water she flicked it onto the rock with steady paws and killed it with a quick bite the pale gray queen smiled at her catch it was a medium sized fish probably a trout and enough to feed most of them.

Featherkit watched as her mother caught a fish and copied her, carefully making sure to not have her shadow fall over the water, when she saw a shadow in the water, she dipped her paw in the water, she tried to grab the fish but failed and the fish swam away. "Aw" she mewed.

Rabbitkit and Blossomkit were both able to catch a small fish, eachkilling their fish and setting them on the rock. @The Doctor @Snowyfeathr

Cinderpaw

The ginger apprentice's hurried splashes sounded as he trudged though flood water. His fur was soaked, heavy and cold. Cinderpaw felt his fear rising along with the water, unfortunately he lacked the ability to swim, he would have laughed at himself if the fear of death wasn't imminent. As he struggled he couldn't help thinking on what he had heard, a lost life? A flooding camp? His mind was muddled but he knew his fate would be sealed if he didn't get out soon. Now, he fully panicked the water would soon reach his shoulder, quickly he made his way out of camp as best as he could, the sound of splashing and screaming surrounded him. Finally with the last spurt of energy Cinderpaw had he pulled himself out, gasping with distressed mews and coughs. He looked back at the camp once more before dragging himself away to safety.

Mistfire smiled sympathetically at Featherkit "Don't worry darling it's your first time i had to pratice a lot to get the hang of it and I'm still not a master" she comforted her daughter softly.

Mistfire smiled sadly at Featherkit "Well it will eventually we just need to be patient...like when we hunt fish" she said softly before nudging the fish she caught towards her daughter "And we shouldn't go hungry while we wait" she told Featherkit gently.
