Mottled dark-cream-and-white rosette fur flashed in the shadows behind the dog. With a snarl, Rosehawk launched herself from the bushes and sank her teeth into her opponent´s hind leg, hopefully giving Duskleaf, Silentstrike, and Irisfrost the advantage as she took care of the dog´s balance.

Wow. One of these days she's going to Fadingstar and apply for a break. Tired as she was, it wasn't time to back out. Not when they were so close to getting a home. She heard her name being called and, alas, she was assigned to Owltalon's group. A cat whom she had respected quite a bit, and held a place as an idol in her heart. With a small stretch, she had made her way towards her group. On her way, she had bump into Aspenpaw, her apprentice who hadn't been put on patrol. "Hey there. (She had stopped herself from saying little one) I'll make sure you get the training you need soon."
Now that was a promise. She could see her apprentice's disappointed look. Though she would like to keep this ball of fluff safe, he'll have to learn one day. And she wasn't the type to slack off, even if she was tired.
And then there was Ravenpaw's little encouragement that brought a soft grin to Floodsight. "Haha alright~ And you make sure the other cats are safe and sound, yeah?"
The silver warrior had padded off to join the group of warriors gathering. Two of which she hardly knew at all, but she nodded her polite greeting regardless.

He was shocked whenever he was actually chosen to be in the attack, but he couldn’t help but have a mighty grin on his face when he was. Even with his jaw and all? And he was in FadingStars group? He was even prouder. He immediately stood up, tail swaying high in the air as he anticipated going into his group. Before the tom had went through, he spotted WisteriaWren. For some reason, something made him want to say a quick hello and check-in before he had to go to a very-important-attack-thing.
“’ey WisteriaWren!” he offered her a grin. “Wish me luck, ey?” he wished he could ask her how she was doing and all, but he saw as the groups were already getting together to leave. “See’ya! Maybe we can talk later?” he offered, flicking his tail in a parting goodbye and leaping over near FadingStar, following him closely.
He saw the dogs, his gaze gleaming brightly. He decided he’d go to get on its back to perhaps cause damage from up there? That’s how he liked fighting with predators. He leapt out towards the dog his group was fighting, hoping to land on its back and scratch its side while he’s at it.

Worry blossomed in Wisteriawren's heart as she watched Rowanmane head off to join his patrol. "Be safe!" She called upon reflex, eyes wide, paws kneading the ground anxiously. "Rowanmane..." Her pawsteps faltered. She couldn't go "Don't get hurt, please." The same went for the rest of her Clanmates, she was just... too uncertain to express the sentiment to anyone else as she lingered to the side.
Brokenstream flicked his tail in response to Ravenpaw as he walked away with his group, giving her a warm stare over his shoulder before turning back around.

Riftpaw swiveled his head around at Ravenpaw approached, icy blue eyes slitted. He had yet to meet this apprentice, but then again, he was so new to his own apprenticeship and the reality of the haphazardness that RiverClan was currently facing that it made sense he hadn't come across her yet. Still, he said nothing as she approached, just settled down quietly as he hoped for Beaverpaw to join. He didn't know him very well, either, but he found comfort in them both having the same mentor. A pang struck his heart in sympathy for Duskleaf, upset that his mentor had been stripped of his Head Lionheart title over a simple mistake. At least, what Riftpaw would deem simple. He was too inexperienced to understand the severity of what had transpired, but he wouldn't have cared anyway. Duskleaf was kind and wise, and that's all that mattered to him.
The young tom flexed his claws into the dirt, casting a curious sideways glance at Ravenpaw in the meantime. She seemed sad, but who was he to know?
( @Luna16 - hehe brief Broken/Raven interaction <3 feel free to have her interact with Rift if you'd like! nbd either way c: )

Re: Marching Forward and Moving On (New RiverClan Camp Discovery)
Ravenpaw smiled at Floodsight and Brokenstream, but in her heart she still felt deep concern for them both. If Fadingstar was having them stay behind, where they won't be in the way of the others, things must be very serious. She flattened her white ears against her black head. Eyes narrowed in thought and concern. She turned away so they wouldn't see the look in her eyes, and found herself looking at Riftpaw. She blinked, she almost forgot her denmates and another warrior were there too.
She suddenly felt a little self-conscious, shuffling her paws. "I'm just a little worried..." She murmured. She glanced in the direction they had come from, wishing she could let her sister know how she was doing. "They'll be okay though." She sounded like she was trying to convince herself.

Primrosepaw had just reached Heroneye, Lilyglide, and Caveclaw when she saw them attacking a dog.
[ Primrosepaw rolled a 99. ]
Her emerald green eyes narrowed as she raced forward and leapt onto the brute´s back, sinking her front claws in its shoulders while her hind paws pummeled its spine and opened deep gashes.
´´Go for the legs!´´ The apprentice called down to Lilyglide. ´´If we can get it to lose its balance and crash to the ground, we can all attack it from above. Heroneye, Caveclaw!´´ Primrosepaw turned her attention to the Lionheart, sinking her teeth in the dog´s ear, causing it to howl in pain and rage. ´´Go for the brute´s sides. I can hold its head back.´´
She sliced the dog´s muzzle before leaping down in front of it, catching a blow on her opponent´s chest, and leaping onto its back yet again to pummel its spine and shoulders.

HE . HIM . 57 MOONS . RIVERCLAN WARRIOR
heavily scarred & skinny black tom with white speckles; cloudy light amber eyes. walks with a prominent limp & has protruding fangs that overlap his bottom lip.
content + interaction warning : this character frequently explores themes of mental health, complex trauma, and abuse
wormbite's ears perked up at the sound of fadingstar's voice, raising a small eyebrow at the idea starclan gave them a sign. of course, it came with a price (he had to hold back a snort, it always did, didn't it?). he stepped forward, keening to hear the rest. dogs. he was far from being fond of them — the last time he had dealt with them had been ,,,, incredibly unpleasant.
he cocked his head to the side, group four. a battle patrol. there was no doubt about it that wormbite would always wish to step forward and fight for riverclan. still. he could only hope he came out of the battle without any new major scars. at some point he was going to run out of fur.
hearing goldfish's voice, the oriental trotted to join the rest of his group. his sleek tail swished slowly and methodically, ears swiveling - muscles tensed. thoughts beginning to spin, and spin in preparation. he gave a short nod to goldfish, following after her and the rest. once they came to a halt, he braced himself for the call. pupils beginning to dilate, adrenaline starting to spike through his limbs like a wildfire.
he always worked best under pressure.
and then the call sings out and wormbite is charging forward, paws slamming against the ground despite the pain it brought. it all faded into the war of battle, his body was a weapon for him to yield.
his whiskers twitched, sensing the vibrations that rung. he darted to the side of the patchy dog, attempting to stick close to its hindlegs where jaws were less likely to snap. then, he would attempt to rake both his front claws along its lower side.

Re: Marching Forward and Moving On (New RiverClan Camp Discovery)
The russet tom, his fur dappled with the shadows overhead from where he sat, was spacing out and gazing into the distance before he glanced wearily up at his leader as his named was called. He had plenty of sleep the night before, but the exhaustion was emotional. Admittedly, he was still reeling from the news about Duskleaf. And the thought of his clan taking on this challenge now would be costly, but the reward would surely pay off right? His dark brown ears folded flat against his broad head as he let out a yawn and shook his pelt in an attempt to wake himself up.
Now was not the time to be groggy and absent minded, especially with a battle on the horizon. Foxleap blinked slowly as he padded from where he was over to his group, eyeing the other warriors and returning their greetings. Hearing Owltalon rally the group together in her spirited way, Foxleap shared a brief, warm smile and nodded to her words. As tired as he was, Foxleap knew he had to snap out of it before it got the best of him.
Dogs. Not a good sign. If those dogs were in the new camp, the clan wouldn't be able to live there. It's...interesting how starclan had been the one to show the two where the new camp should be...but they knew Fadingstar wasn't lying when he said something like that; it's not like he'd bother lying about starclan anyway. So...it's good to know not everyone was mad at riverclan. Dogs. Dogs. Dogs, they've never faced one before. They knew what those looked like...they really wish the clan didn't need to kill those dogs..especially if what the clan was going to call their new camp was actually their home that they earned for themselves. But it's either one or the other at this point. Please just run away
5 dogs. A family, maybe. Surprised took them when they heard they were in Fadingstar's group; though then again they were surprised they were even included in any group. The warrior followed him to wherever this camp would be, making sure they weren't getting left behind. The place looks...nice..but the dogs were definitely visible. Their ears flattened up slightly. Okay, okay, they can do this. They took a deep breath before slowly letting it out, making their way with their group to whatever dog the rest decided on. All the dogs seemed..the same, so it wouldn't make much difference whichever one they chose.
They ran up to the dog's sides, bringing up their claws as they tried to slice in down the dog's...neck? They can't risk hesitating at all... For reasons way more than one. The throat was a weak spot in any animal for sure but still, they wouldn't mind if it even hit anywhere else. A hit was better than missing completely, right?
