I was renamed to Ghosttail..." He trailed off. It was clearly causing him pain to remember his old name.

The molly nodded, staying silent. What would this meeting be about? Hopefully that Dawnstar was resigning. Let's see. The new leader was worse than Icestar, so maybe she deserved a special name ... Dawnass. That suited her.

To Fallenheart's relief, the brown tabby kitten hadn't ignored him. That seemed to happen often these days - the warrior just being ignored. For what reason, the ghost tabby didn't know. He just fit in with the crowd, he supposed. The tomcat was normal. Disposable. A pawn to be played, but the one that would likely be sacrificed for the good of the larger game. For all the time that he spent near them, Fallenheart envied kittens just a bit. They were innocent and carefree in a way that older cats couldn't be. Bisonkit was the tomkit's name. "I'm Fallenheart," the dark-furred feline returned. He watched curiously as Bisonkit bounced around. "What are you doing?"

Marigoldpaw's lit up in excitement. A rematch! Yes! Yes! YES!!! The golden furred apprentice wasn't excited about the prospect of giving her brother another chance to win she was excited to FIGHT!!! To bad that they couldn't use their claws on each other...it'd make it so much more interesting! More of a challenge! Oh no way! Shrikepaw was not going to win! Na ah! Sorry nope! She was winning(again)!!! Marigoldpaw grinned and playfully shoved her shoulder against the ever growing Shrikepaw. Honestly he must have be a late bloomer! He was growing huge now! But nowhere near her size! She held the title of largest of the litter! Wait...is that a good thing....hmmm yes.
"Ha! No way! I'm going to win for sure!" She mewed happily.

At the call for their first meeting, Doeflame strode forward, taking a seat near the front of the crowd. By now, she was fairly confident in her position as a somewhat senior warrior, and felt no need to stay near the edges of the crowd. Why should she? She was more of a warrior than any of the current maggot apprentices would ever be! At least that was what her posture and expression radiated. In reality, she was quite nervous, but to show that would not do. She didn't want to be labeled as weak by their new leader, a label that would not be advantageous in the days to come. So while inwardly she trembled, outwardly she radiated to the best of her ability calm and contentedness.

Thornscratch headed over and sat down among the crowd. Dawnstar. Right. The warrior tried her best to hide her hate for the molly but could barely succeed. She looked around for a cat to talk to, maybe someone who hated the horrid leader just as much. Or maybe even more.

Lynxdusk

The brown tabby bounded over to Shadowledge, a quiet purr rumbling from his chest like a near silent thunder storm. Lynxdusk sat down happily, amber eyes gleaming with joy. He didn't mind the new leader. She was great! The warrior glanced around, looking for another cat to talk to.

Sparklight padded over to where Dawnstar sat. She began to push through the crowd of cats so she could be in the front. It was Dawnstar's first Meeting as leader, and she wanted to watch from up close. Actually, Dawnstar probably wouldn't be that bad. Icestar was just downright mean and stupid, but Dawnstar isn't. She glared and hissed at quite a few cats. "Outta m'way," she hissed at Lynxdust.
