It was fully healed, mind you, but he imagined this is what the elders feel like once leafbare starts to set in. He was young and strong, otherwise, he shouldn’t be complaining. Or at least thinking about complaining.
His tongue lolling slightly from the side of his mouth, the Rockjaw stretched as he rolled on his back before finally getting up and heading toward the fresh-kill pile. Maybe he’d be lucky and find a frog! Easy to swallow. Hmm…but a mouse also sounded good…or maybe a bird? Ugh, so many choices. What to choose?
( OPEN !! )
Treefoot gave a wide yawn, stretching every limb at a time on her way to the fresh-kill pile. She'd spent far too long grooming her fur out, the thick mass already being troublesome even before her winter coat set in, but now all she could think about was grabbing something to eat.
Strolling to the pile, she pictured a plump bird, or perhaps a mouse? Either would be nice, she thought.
Then, upon arriving, she saw that there was only one frog. That.. Made sense, it was only early morning. She felt guilt stirring in her belly at the idea of taking the only prey on the pile, especially when she'd only just awoken. So she simply sat, waiting for another cat to come up to claim the frog. Maybe she could ask them to share?

Right as he approached, so did one of his clanmates. Ah...Treefoot? He thinks, anyways. Looks like she wanted to grab something to eat too. He glanced down at the pile before him...aha! The frog he was looking for. He awkwardly licked his lips (on account of his injured jaw) and picked the dead prey up in his mouth. Rockjaw's amber eyes cast a narrowed glance at Treefoot again, studying her. Would she say something? His expression dared her, but he didn't speak. Instead, he pointedly turned away and padded off to find somewhere peaceful to eat...beautifully alone...
'Stars, dammit.'
The tom turned back around and stalked towards the she-cat again. "Do you want to share?"

Her ears pinned back as buttercupkit retorted... She didn't want this! She wanted to feel better than her! No! She would not stand for this AT ALL. "Well you've got enough fluff in your brain to rival a rabbit!" She hissed. "And Buttercupkit is an even dumber name! They should call you Buttercupbutt! with how flowery you are!" She hissed in response. Yea! That'll show this stupid little kit!

"No I don't!!" Buttercup retorted, shaking her head vigorously. "Nuh uh! I have no fluff in my brain, and I am not a rabbit!" She was practically standing on her tiptoes trying to intimidate Talonkit at this point, her fur puffed up in a way that just made her look rather cute more than intimidating.
"And I hope you... um... catch no prey when you're a warrior!! And then you get eaten by a big bad fox!!!"

Jaggedsky | She/her | Age that I currently have forgotten
It was cold out, thought Jaggedsky contentedly. She shifted deeper into the undergrowth that was shielding her from the cold. A few cats were milling about the clearing but no one bothered her. If they could see her. The thicket hid her well. She rested her white chin on her paws. Her ears fell into a relaxed position and her tail curled about her head cozily.
Just watching instead of interacting was nice every once in a while. And todau was a good day for it. Maybe it was the weather that made her feel this way. She smiled inwardly. It didn't matter. She felt content.
I would love to roleplay one on one with someone =] Currently I have Reedpaw(river-clan), Shadepaw(thunder-clan, currently demoted =/), Larkkit(shadow-clan), Rainkit(thunder-clan), Flaxkit(river-clan, soon to be born) and Wispeye(wind-clan). Flicker is my outsider.
Here. Take this

Treefoot had watched Rockjaw take the frog, not bothering to say anything to the big tom. She didn't really know what to say since she didn't know him, and all she knew of him was that he had a broken jaw and a grumpy demeanor. She'd practically accepted the hunger, staring longingly at the frog in his mouth until..
He asked if she wanted to share! Immediately, she hopped to her paws and padded up to the tom, smiling brightly. Well, he didn't seem all that grumpy after all!
Larkbreeze ShadowClan Warrior
She / Her ; 24 Moons
Larkbreeze followed Whitepaw's gaze over to Blackpaw before turning her attention back to her apprentice. ´´Blackpaw's training does not concern you, Whitepaw, and your training does not concern him. Let's leave your brother out of this,´´ She meowed quietly, wrapping her tail around the younger she-cat's shoulders.
whitepaw sees a live mouse, one bigger than shes ever seen. "HUH! there is an alive mouse in the clearing." whitepaw thinks. she crouches and stalks the mouse then pounses on it killing with one swipe of her claw. she turns to her mentor, larkbreeze, with the mouse in her mouth with a pride look in her eyes.

The tom listened in, face stoic as ever. ”I believe you”, no point spending too long dwelling on things. Wasn’t like he trusted Dawnstar’s every decision, he had more faith in his brother. They shared blood after all.
The tension eased up in his body as he playfully flicked Flytail’s face with his fur. ”It’s good to have you back anyhow, the kits are dying to meet you.” He wouldn’t deny him that, now he’d gotten to the bottom of the great mystery. He wasn’t sure how Flytail would react to being an uncle, but his young already adored him. Even if they hadn’t yet met.

Flytail’s gaze softened as the other tom spoke, and for the first time in what felt like moons, a rare flicker of genuine warmth crossed his face. He hadn’t realized how much he missed this—how much he missed them—until now. "I didn’t expect to be an uncle," he said, his voice low but not without an underlying fondness. There was something different in the air tonight, something lighter. For a moment, Flytail felt the weight of his past lift, even if just a little. He glanced over at the tom, his eyes softening. "But... I’m glad to be back." His voice carried the unspoken truth: despite everything, despite all the time lost, being here now felt like exactly where he needed to be.

Graynight was snuffling through some bushes, trying to find a nice place to hide from the cold. As he sniffed, he thought he could smell another clannmate, rather strongly, meaning there was another cat likely doing the same as him. The tom shrugged, unbothered by that. Finally he found a bush that fit his standards, and began to settle down underneath it, setting down the small mouse he had in his jaws. He had immediately forgot about smelling a clanmate, now focused on the mouse, he hadn't realized he had sat down nearly right next to Jaggedsky.

Jaggedsky | She/her | 12 moons
Jaggedsky froze as the undergrowth shifted beside her to reveal a large tom. He hadn't seemed to have noticed her yet. At least really noticed her. She felt a small wave of annoyance pass through her, souring her mood.
"Hey," she meowed. Her whiskers quivered. How would he react to her presence. He ovbiously wasn't that concerned or he would have already noticed her. She felt another wave of annoyance. And maybe jealousy. He paid more attention to the dead mouse than to her. (Although, she had to admit. she could be pretty focused on fresh kill sometimes...)

His head whipped around to face her, surprise lighting his features. "Oh! Jaggedsky, sorry I didn't see you there," He picked his mouse up and moved closer to her. "Want to share a mouse? It's sure cold out so foods getting rather scarce." He set the mouse down and nudged it towards her, waiting for her response. It was always nice to spend time with clanmates, and he truthfully didn't talk ti Jaggedsky often so it was even nicer to get to talk to her.
