Poppyseed watched as Tinykit carried the big fish in. "Why, your absolutely right Tinykit! I think this is the biggest fish from the pile. What a big, strong kitten you are!
She took the fish from her daughter and took a bite. "Mmmm... and this is the best tasting fish I've had all day! Thank you Tinykit.
Now, why don't you settle down as best you can, and I'll tell you all about the surprise!
Tinykit managed to settle herself down a bit, laying in her nest. Her eyes were wide as she looked at her mother. 'Well momma? What's the surprise? Please please tell me, I wanna know!' She squirmed around in her nest as she spoke, barely able to contain her excitement.
Poppyseed laughed as Tinykit bounced around in her nest. "Well, the first thing we're going to do is a scavenger hunt. After that I'm going to take you out of camp... and show you the river! Then the last thing we'll do is another surprise! You'll have to wait and find out after the sun goes down!" She said mischievously.
