Redsea didn’t know much about kits but he was a cat generally knowledgable on most topics. “Is there something specific bothering you?” He asked, whiskers twitching in curiosity. “I don’t know much about kits, but I’ll try and help.”

Mistfire smiled softly at him "Well Briarfang told me not to worry about them but what if their not healthy what if...they don't survive their first sunrise?" she asked him her amber eyes brimming with worry .

Worry flooded his own eyes before it disappeared and shook his head, “They will be a fine addition to the clan and Riverclan’s plentiful resources will assist them in growing. I assure you, they will be perfect.”

Mistfire purred sleepily "Thank you but that's all I have to say" she said drowsily as she rested her head on her paws "Besides I'm quite tired and Briarfang will come to check on me soon and he gets a little overprotective"

Redsea blinked at the mention of Briarfang and let out a soft, amused sigh, "Forgive me- I'd rather avoid a box of the ears then." The tom teased kind-heartedly.

Mistfire smiled barely staying awake "Yes I would also if I was you Briarfang's a bit grumpy sometimes but I still love him" she purred sleepily "Thank you for helping me Redsea though you should probably go now Briarfang is probably on his way back now" the soft furred queen mewed drowsily as she wrapped her tail around her face.

Seeing as Mistfire was so sleepy, the tom hummed a 'you're right' and with a final dip of his head, Redsea padded away, his head held high and his long tail swishing behind him.

Mistfire purred softly as she fell asleep and after a few moments Briarfang approached the nursery a look of surprise came across his face as he saw Redsea coming out of the nursery the large dark brown tabby dipped his head in greeting to the other tom "Greetings Redsea I didn't expect to see you here" he said his green eyes full of suspicious.

Redsea paused and looked to the tom. He was still polite but when greeted with suspicion, that kindness dropped by a level. "Briarfang." He turned to face the tom fully and cocked his head, "I was just saying hello to Mistfire. She looked a little troubled so I thought I'd ask how things were."
