Her tail stuck straight up in the air as she set it down, "That was great! I was so far behind, I saw the mouse slip under the bush after it ducked around the tree!"

Stormpaw finally stopped to catch her breath. That was when she saw the vole (of destiny). She slipped into a hunting crouch and by the time Sparkpaw was next to her, the vole was dead in Stormpaw's jaws.
