Listening to Lilycreek accept her newfound position, Pikestar dipped his head to her with a small smile coming to his maw. “I’m glad to hear it, RiverClan welcomes you officially as our forever queen from this day forth.” He remarked proudly, white whiskers twitching, “And of course, I’d never expect you to give up being Snowypaw’s mentor. You shall continue training her until it is time for her warrior ceremony.” With that all decided and taken care of, the RiverClan leader moved onto the next important announcement. Watching with an observant eye, the large dark-furred tomcat hummed thoughtfully as little Icekit scrambled over almost immediately, hyper and all puffed out as she appeared more than ready to become a RiverClan apprentice. Young Fishkit soon joined her, though not really seeming as excited for some reason, but Pikestar decided to not question it. He had witnessed all kinds of reactions to ceremonies before through his life, so it wasn’t too shocking.
However, out of the corner of his partial gaze, he'd soon notice Wormbite, his lead shield, limping out of the meeting along with... was that Fawnspring? Choosing to disregard that for another time, the tall oriental longhair couldn't help but feel a bit disrespected. Yes, the meeting was almost over, but the least he could do was wait until Pikestar dismissed them. Wormbite was supposed to be present here to support him, just as Gingerfrost did. Was he truly asking too much? His tufted ears flattened as his brow furrowed for a brief moment, but he said nothing, letting the (most-likely petty) bitterness in his heart fade for the time-being. He soon allowed a calm look of neutrality take over his expression as Pikestar turned back to the two kittens looking up at him. This was their moment now, and he would not let this distract him from it.
"Icekit and Fishkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be officially apprenticed. From this day forth, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Icepaw and Codpaw." Pikestar dipped his head to both newly-named RiverClan apprentices before continuing, "Icepaw, your mentor shall be Goosehonk. May they pass down all that they know to you." A small pause was made in-between. "And Codpaw, your training shall be done by Raccoonear. May she pass down all that she knows to you as well." The shield's most recent apprentice, Crowpaw, had gone missing from camp, so this was her second chance at shaping a future warrior of RiverClan. He fell silent now, so that the chants of acceptance for these two new apprentices would ring through the camp clearing. This time, he did not join their yowls, simply sitting there silently, unmoving.
Once the many voices of his clanmates would eventually die down, he'd waste no time moving onto reassignments. "Apprentices of RiverClan, listen well. If you have not received any training recently, or feel like your mentor is not fit for you, step forward to the base of the Streamstone, and I shall reassign you a new one." Pikestar said, then taking a deep breath of fresh air, awaiting to see how many young cats would come forward. Hopefully, there would be much less than last time.
Her eyes gleamed with pride as Fishkit went up to the Streamstone. That was her kid; it seemed like ages ago when Fishkit was so small and rowdy.
Okay, maybe her kid was still rowdy, but not so small any more. She watched with pride, as Fishkit became Codpaw, and followed in the chants of names for the new apprentices.
Her expression prockled as the meeting continued; Kestrelpaw really considered her aunt becoming forever queen the best part. Fishkit became an apprentice (Compaw now).
Ah, reassignment. It had been two moons since she was reassigned to Marigoldleap, but they hadn't done much since. Maybe...
Ah, screw it. Kestrelpaw walked forward toward the Streamstone, her head held high.
[ @Angelique -Very sorry about this!! I saw you haven't replied to the training thread in a while, and I bumped you about this, but I decided it was for the best ): ]
Goosehonk looked up when Pikestar called his name to be a mentor and honk honked loudly! Honk looked around for honks new apprentice and when honk found them honk trotted over and touched noses with them before honking.
Cicadapaw carefully kneaded the ground, they once again needed a new mentor and they slowly walked toward the front to get another one. It was like Starclan was against them becoming a warrior or something.

He looked around a bit anxiously and hesitantly stepped forward. Mistycloud was amazing in personality it’s just… he wasn’t really learning much. He hoped that Mistycloud wouldn’t have her feelings hurt. He turned his head towards Mistycloud and let a sort of ‘I need to learn more’ look in his eye with sight. He returned his partial gaze towards Pikestar and gave him a look that kinda said, ‘you knew this would happen one day or another’ he didn’t know if they’d know how he felt. But he needed to learn faster. He let his thoughts kind of let him float. He kind of had an okay relationship with Pikestar, (though he wished he could be closer with him) but, honestly, who didn’t want to have a good relationship with their leader. It makes them easier to talk to and hunt with. But for now, he was content with his relationship with his leader. He let his mind return to the thought of mentors. Hopefully he got a mentor that actually had time for him this time. Hopefully

(Sorry for the lack of response this meeting, I kinda had Covid for a bit but I’m fine now)

There was.... A lot of apprentices who wanted reassignement, it surprised Nightspark, he thought the others were doing a great job with the apprentices! Yes, it was very surprising... However, an other thought came in his head... What if he have to train an apprentice? It could happen, even if the chances were low, the big cat woke up, and silently moved toward the Streamstone, it was becoming interesting...

The lilac queen listened idly. Lilycreek was announced as the new forever queen and Doeheart couldn't help the twinge of jealousy and regret that passed through her. Being a forever queen felt like everything the she-cat would've wanted in her life but she was only on her first litter and even then, she realized she hadn't brought her first litter successfully and safely to their apprenticeship. She had started these moons out with nine kits; she'd been so confident in her role as a queen she'd adopted a dead cat's litter, she'd even foolishly taken it as a sign that those kits needed her. She'd done everything in her power to raise them alongside her own litter. But in six short moons three of her kits had died and she'd lost another four, she couldn't imagine the lost Magnoliakit, Flintkit, Bearkit, and Shellkit were still alive and found solace only in the idea of them being with Falconkit, Heronkit, and Brightkit. If she couldn't even keep her own litter safe, what made her think, even for a moment, that forever queen was her calling? She didn't deserve that title anyway. She looked toward Lilycreek with mournful congratulations. She was happy for the she-cat and for the kits that would undoubtedly benefit from her presence, despite her own internal conflicts over it all.
Her breath caught as she was brought back to the meeting. Pikestar was moving onto apprentice ceremonies. It was routine enough, casual, nothing overtly novel. But Fishkit was not now Fishpaw but Codpaw. It wasn't unusual for kits, apprentices, and even warriors to have their name changed, especially when they were going up in rank. Doeheart knew there was a Fishpaw already in the apprentice den so none of this would be surprising, but Doeheart was in a vulnerable place, she knew, and the name caught her off-guard completely. Her nephew had only become Codwhisper scant moons before his death and hearing his name again from outside her own mind and memory felt jarring for a few heartbeats. She swallowed roughly then quietly joined the congratulatory chants for Icepaw and Codpaw.

Oh my goodness. Was this really true? That..goddess he met? Oh stars! This was exciting! This was really exciting! He swivelled around, blinking. Ah, where was she? He grinned, looking at Pikestar, dipping his head. Yayyyy! He. Was. An. Apprentice!!!!! He padded over to Icepaw, nudging him playfully. “Let’s see who’s the best apprentice, alright?” he challenged, eyes glinting with malice.
