Maplebranch walked up to Cinderblaze; Maplebranch respected Cinderblaze, and knew that she was a great warrior. In Maplebranch's mind, she was afraid she wasn't up to Cinderblaze's level, so instead of walking up and saying hi, she said, "I'm here for the next patrol" and started watching as the other cats around them walked by. @starry

[ These patrols are due on the 18th June, which is in eight (8) days. Let me know if you need an extension before the deadline. If you'd like for your cat to be replaced VM me, and please do this within two (2) days. Make sure to report to Cinderblaze in the patrol place, as slackers will be punished accordingly. ]

Cinderblaze padded to the base of the Shadowledge, deciding it was time for patrols again. He was actually quite happy with the outcome of the last ones, except for the fact that Brackenfire had slacked. Other than that, only one warrior to punish. His amber gaze wandered over to Maplebranch, and he gave off a slight huff. Were cats placing themselves on patrols now? Well, either way, sure, he'd put her on one. At least she was making an effort. "I'm sending out patrols again!" the deputy yowled, readying most cats for the possibility of their name being called out.

[ Optional Prompt: Are those... ants? And someone steps into their nest. Oops! ]

It appeared that ThunderClan wasn't extremely hostile towards them anymore. The last cats had returned unscathed, he guessed he wouldn't have to send out so many Enforcers on one patrol again. "Sunnyleap [ @FlowerBoy ]! How about you take... Lynxblossom [ @Erebus ] and Centipedepaw [ @xath ] to patrol the ThunderClan border?" With that out of the way, he swiftly moved on to the next patrol.

RiverClan... they weren't causing many (if any) problems as of lately. "Cowfern [ @Slushie ]. Do you mind taking Willowbriar [ @Polaris ] and Spiderpaw [ @ghostt ] to the RiverClan border?" He attempted to locate Cowfern. If he managed, Cinderblaze would send them a smirk. He knew they were quite a prankster, at times, but they should manage fine leading a border patrol. The two siblings weren't on negative terms or anything.

WindClan shouldn't pose a threat, or so he hoped for them. Not that he had sympathy, but it would be fun to shred another bunny... they better beware! "Redheart [ @Dirtfur ]. You, Meadowfrost [ @Silverdream ] and Lynxpaw [ @Bone. ] can go to the WindClan border." He supposed he should put Lynxpaw on a patrol so that the tom was able to receive some extra training. His mentor was neglecting him and that wasn't fair towards the apprentice.

Now it was time for hunting patrols. Cinderblaze wasn't too concerned about these as long as prey was brought back and the patrol was reported. "Foxwhisper [ @flopsy ] and Nighthawk [ @Singing Jay ]! Go to the Pinewatch Patch and hunt." His tail flicked dismissively. Shouldn't be a big deal for the two warriors.

The last one he decided to go on as well. Some time with his former apprentice should be quite relaxing. Deputy duties were stressful - he could handle them, but hunting was certainly a "break" from the business of clan life. "Elkfrost [ @Castle ]. How about we head into the territory and hunt?" His deep gaze scanned the clearing for Elkfrost. They'd better get going!

Last but not least, Maplebranch and Quailcall. "Maplebranch [ @Rocky_Road_Kee ] and Quailcall [ @WillowBlows12 ]. Go to the Croaking Swamp and bring some prey back."

Yellow eyes watched calmly as the new deputy assigned out patrols. He seemed to get into the swing of it,
and the cats were set out smoothly and swiftly. She hoped this one would turn out better than his predecessor. Sure, not much would be needed for that, but she really wanted to see her clan thrive. But she doubted he was who Dawnstar wanted to take over after, so it was likely this cat would have to drop or be pushed from his position before he had the chance to become Cinderstar.

The only visible movement and reaction from her as her name was called for the patrol to Pinewatch patch
was her eyebrows rising somewhat, though not to the point of being surprised, and the black she-cat padded over, her yellow gaze quickly scanning the camp for her patrol mate before she called for him. "Foxwhisper. Let's go." Wasting time wasn't a hobby of hers, and duties she was assigned would be completed.

When Cinderblaze called for hunting patrols, Elkfrost immediately marches up. Surely his former mentor would assign him -- he wasn't one to slack off on patrols, unlike some of his Clanmates.

And of course, he was paired with the deputy himself. He smirks, raising his head and and puffing out his chest, letting out an egotistical huff at the sound of his own name. He dips his head to Cinderblaze. "We shall leave at once, sir."

With that, he turns and strides straight for the territory.

|^ The old molly heaved herself upwards at the call of her nephew, letting put a small mew of pride before padding towards the base of the Shadowledge. Sending her ferocious gaze around the clearing, Sunny’Leaps eyes settled on her patrol-mates, Lynx’Blossom and Centipede’Paw.

“Alright, let’s get goin’ and make this quick, got it? I’m not stickin’ around for introductions,”

She instructed, nodding her head with furrowed brows as the molly whirled around and padded towards the camp entrance, a limp in her step due to old age. While she wasn’t one to call on StarClan, Sunny’Leap would fight with her claws unsheathed if those stupid ancestors tried to take her any time soon! ^|

Foxwhisper raised her head at her name being called padding over to the departing group, "Coming." She followed after her fellow clanmate the molly would hate to be late for her assigned patrol.

Redheart flexed his claws and dig them into the ground. He was nervous, it was his first of leading a patrol since he left the clan. Gulping down his worries, he called for his patrol. "Alright! Lynxpaw and Meadowfrost, let's hurry up and go to the borders before any WindClan cats or rogues start taking over it," he declared.

(Lynxpaw's got some brain damage and will take things slow, so you know. He can still keep up, but may take a minute to process things.)

Lynxpaw looked at the tom for a second. "Huh?" He asked, confused what he meant about Windclan cats taking over. He didn't understand it was mostly a joke.

The Deaf tom had some issues understanding what Cinderblaze wanted without the benefit of his brother translating… but he figured out the gist of it well enough. So--they'd be patrolling the border that they shared with the squirrels. That could make for some good exercise… especially if they happened to meet any mouthy ThunderClan idiots along the way.

Nodding to show that he'd understood, Centipede turned to acknowledge the cats he'd been paired with. The boy had never formally met the venerated Sunnyleap; apparently the old lady was impatient, for she marched toward the nearest exit before Centipedepaw even had a chance to read her muzzle. Blinking, flustered, the dark grey lad quickly padded after her--tossing a curious glance at Lynxblossom as he went.
