Amberflight raised a brow confusedly, she wasn't upset. She wasn't anything honestly, just kind of there. "I'm fine, why?" she replied, leaning away from the touch slightly. There it was, emotions, how did other cats do it so easily? It was almost sickening at this point, but of course she wouldn't know anything about that. "Just simply stating facts everyone should know is all."

Silverpool brightened again. "Yay! That's good. And thanks for letting me know, the tip about the plants was useful!" She sat up and asked, "What were you thinking about?"

She nodded, wondering why the she-cat was still having trouble with stalking and she was already a warrior. Shouldn't that be practically the first thing you learn as an apprentice? Brushing off the thought, she shook her head at her question, not willing to let anyone in on her inner thoughts, "Nothing really, though if you think about there should be a lot for every cat to think about. New Shadowclan leader, Fawnsqueak resigned, what isn't there to think about these days?"

Silverpool thought about that. It was true, but the black molly still preferred talking over thinking. "Yeah, I heard she's nasty!" Silverpool was glad they had such a kind, fair leader. "I hope she doesn't start anything. Not that I wouldn't be ready or anything though," Silverpool added on, making sure she didn't come across as a coward. It was most important to her to show her clanmates how loyal she was.

She nodded in agreement, tapping the surface of the pond with a paw to mess with the fish. Fish were the real cowards of Riverclan, swimming away in the face of danger. "I'm sure she will, but I'm also sure that we know how to defend ourselves. We didn't learn how to fight as apprentices to run away when it comes time to use them," she replied, watching as the small minnows swam deeper into the pond, "It all depends on what you know though. While we might be prepared, anything can catch anyone off guard and then what your thought you knew is flipped."

Silverpool nodded. "I could probably use some practice though. I'm right in that spot where you've been a warrior long enough to feel like apprentice training was a while ago, but also too young to have an apprentice I can brush up my skills with." She tilted her head as Amberflight spoke about being caught off guard. It was true. You never really know how you're going to do in a battle until you're in the midst of it. "Do you have an apprentice?" she asked Amberflight, "I think you'd be an amazing one."
