Ciara watched. "Oh!" She stood up fast again, ignoring her sore body. "Let me help! She helped me, now it's my turn!" She tried to follow.

Esther watched from her spot as Ciara went to the bathroom to help the dog. She looked at Jake, taking a step back into the dark night. It was raining, and the young girl was soaked to the bone. Her hair was soaking wet and her clothes were pretty much sticking to her body. She shivered like she was really cold and coughed every now and again. "Hi. Just- *cough* -just thought I'd say hi. Don't want to- *sneeze* -to interrupt. I'll just- *cough* *sneeze* *sneeze* -just leave now," Esther turned to go back into the dark stormy night. Lightning flashed overhead.

* He pulled the girl inside. *
" Okay, Listen here. Go upstairs and take a shower. There are some clean clothes in one of the dressers that are your size. Also lay down and rest. You're sick and need to rest. I'll have some others bring you some soup later on. "

Esther gasped when Jake pulled her inside. "But... but- *sneeze* *sneeze* *sneeze* -*groan* never mind," she yawned, shivering. She made the floor wet with her hair and clothes as she made her way up the stairs. Esther sat on the toilet cover seat once in the bathroom and covered her head with her hands, thinking as she watched her hair send drops to the ground. I can't stay. I don't care how sick or wet I am. They will find them again. When she finished her shower, Esther did as she was told, finding new clothes and then did not do as she was told by locking herself in the bathroom and stared at her refection in the mirror, brushing her still-wet hair. What am I going to do? If I stay, they will find them but I'll get worse. If I stay I'll get better but they will follow me. Esther dropped her head into the sink bowl, not knowing what to do. She let out the tears she had been holding.

*knock* *knock* Esther startled awake. She was lying on the ground, a little bit of blood dripping from her forehead. I must have fallen asleep while having my head down and slammed it on the ground. She stood up, holding her small wound. "Who is it?" Esther called, her voice hinted with fear.

Esther yawned, shaking herself awake again. "Yeah, I'm fine, just tired. I think I fell sleep or something." She unlocked the door and opened it, almost hitting Jake. She looked up at him with a sorrow-filled look in her eyes, still holding her small wound on her forehead. "Is it safe for me to be here?" Esther blurted. "Of course it's safe," Ciara stepped out of the shadows as if she had been standing there and listening, making Jake jump. "Well, I was... I..." The young girl yawned, too tired to talk. She closed the door again. "Hey, why are going back in there?" Ciara';s voice had worry in it.

" Now listen here. I may not have liked you before. However I won't let a friend beat themselves up over something like some plushies. I can do something to allow people, but not other beings enter the property. "

Esther tried to argue, but tiredness forced her to give in. "Is there a room Esther can stay in?" Ciara asked. Esther leaned on the wall, half asleep.
