Foxtooth quickly darted around and snarled. ¨Sawnpaw! What are you doing here!¨ His tail was held erect and sweeping slowly from side to side. He was trying to tell Lilyheart to move back slowly, while hes distracting Swanpaw.

His eyes narrowed as he watched the molly dart off back to the safety of her own territory before snapping his head back to his clanmate, "You are heading back to camp with me. Traitor." He spat.

Lilyheart paused looking at the border she twitched her ear at foxtoothed voice her head turned, she back up onto windclan border her eyes glissened with sadness but then turning she ran off not to be seen

Larkfire had no words. Really, she didn't understand (okay, perhaps if she put her in his paws and imagined dealing with two whiny teenagers then sure she'd understand, but that wasnt her problem right now) why Shadowfur was so insistant on having her and Darkfall hunt together. Well, Lark wouldn't put it past her friend, if that was what Darkfall was, to have set this up with Shadowfur. But something about the more senior enforcer didn't strike Lark that way. He probably wouldn't give way to kit-ish antics. Unless Shadowfur was really a kit at heart, and those philosophies were not something Larkfire wanted to delve into, not really.

Letting out a quiet sigh, the lithe grey damsel sees no point in arguing. Instead, she shrugs, gaze shifting from a point in the sky back to Shadowfur, and briefly to Darkfall. "Darkfall and I haven't hunted together before, actually." She murmurs quietly, brow furrowing in thought. "And I think I'll go hunt on my own for a bit, if that's okay with you." The words aren't clipped, not really, but they're distant. She had intended to wait until Shadowfur approves of her leaving, but instead of waiting that long, Larkfire merely turns and heads off into the undergrowth.

Cloverpaw was really a warrior, but now she was demoted to an apprentice. It was extremely annoying. No one gave her as much respect as they used to, there was all those boring apprentice jobs she now had to do, but probably the worst part was the den. No longer allowed in the warrior den, the black-and-orange she-cat was forced to sleep in with the apprentices. They never shut up, it was too small and her old nest called to her. Still, three months were nearly over. She would be back to Cloversun in no time. Except no time was too long. It seemed to Cloverpaw that the days were perilously getting longer the closer she got.

She trudged on through the ShadowClan territory, not really concentrating were she was going in her grumpy haze. Life had been like that most of the time since demotion. Grumpy.

Shadowfur narrowed his eyes as the outsider croaked their final words.

He almost, almost felt bad about killing this cat. He pushed the wisps of those feelings away, shaking his head. This cat had trespassed and displayed aggression. Shadowfur was under orders to kill all trespassing cats. He had made the right decision. He had made the right decision.
