It was so quiet now. One wouldn't think that just recently a battle had been waged here amongst the delicate running of the river and peaceful landscape. Expression hard to read, Eveningdance sits at the edge of the water and watches the small fish swim in the safety of their wet home. War was coming. Of course he would fight for his clan-- for his kits. Ah, his little ones... His mind wanders to the small bundles of fur, currently safely tucked into their nest at the nursery. He would do what was necessary to keep them there.

[Hunting Patrol]

The tabby made her way out into the territory, the early morning light shining through the trees. She was still a little...well she still had a lot to learn when it came to hunting. Specifically hiding herself before she spooks the prey. So, she made sure she was rather far into their territory, hopefully in a section of Sunkissed creek that no one really went into.


It took her a second...hours. It took her hours. But she finally managed to catch a squirell (no I aint fixing the spelling) and a mole. She'd never felt more proud...or dirty. She was covered head to toe in dirt, leaves, twigs, and sweat. But she did it. All by herself and it was one of the most gratifying feelings in the world.

So, with her chest puffed out, gathering her catches into her maw. The Apprentice made her way back towards the Camp as the sun sets.

The frazzled apprentice walked with her patrol towards Sunkissed creek. Having missed what she was supposed to be finding, the molly simply looked around for anything that may be useful. She'd only caught the word yellow at the tail end of what Drizzlecloud was requesting. So blue eyes raked the opening for anything...well...yellow!

Eyes caught on a little patch of yellow flowers. Ears lifting with delight. Oh they looked so pretty too, surely those were the one's needed by the Medicine Cat. Trotting over to the growing patch, Silverpaw picked up as many as her maw would let her carry. A total of 5. Although looking closely at them now...they were all different kinds of yellow flowers! Oh well.

As she turned to make her way back towards her two patrol mates, Silverpaw hadn't noticed the cobweb she'd managed to coil around her tail as she turned.

CedarSparrow went to look for some flowers and found a small clump of about three growing in some mud. The orange and black she-cat carefully stepped into the mud and walked over to the marigold after slipping and almost falling a couple times she was victorious.

CedarSparrow giggled at the young apprentice as she and Silverpaw met up. SilverPaw had, somehow, turned up with a cobweb on her tail, and a variety of yellow flowers.

"Wow! Quite the arrangement!" CedarSparrow purred.

Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to go a little further on this stroll, Shallow'Stone thought. Then suddenly they sighted what appeared to be a few cats running. They flicked their ear, confused, and stepped closer, only to have their face batted by somecats tail.

~as a recap, we are after cobwebs and marigold. Berryfrost can go first, as Cinnamon is on vacation!~

It was the will of StarClan that he guided the herb-gathering patrol in the direction he was supposed to, as he had completely forgotten and set out in what he hoped was the right way. Maybe, just maybe, his paws were able to remember the territory where his mind couldn’t. That’s what paws were for, right?

He knew he was after… something. That cat had given them orders, and he hoped they were able to decipher what it was and could remind him. Spottedfire didn’t speak for a few moments, merely putting his nose to the ground and sniffing for… something. Why would he remember this stuff; why was he supposed to lead for that matter? He wanted to make ThunderClan proud. Maybe this was the way to do it.

”Can… one of you… remind me what we’re… doing?”

Plucking a few of the marigolds she found sprouting out of the slippery ground, Silversong turned to their patrol, mumbling around the bunch of herbs in their jaws.
"That should be enough. Quickly, let's head back to the medicine den, we're nearly late."
She turned and pushed through the reeds, heading back towards ThunderClan's camp.

CedarSparrow nodded at SilverSong's words and her blue eyes glanced around to see if there were anymore marigolds near the creek. She eventually gave up after not spotting anything and headed after SilverSong. As she padded after her patrol leader, she left some muddy pawprints as remains from her little herb patrol adventure.
