Wisteria coughed, heaving for breath. Eventually, she stopped choking and sat up slowly, panting slightly. "No promises." She joked, grinning at Adder with sparkling gold eyes. "Okay, I'm alright now..." The white and yellow kittypet stood up and shook her fur, spraying water everywhere. Her fur poofed out, making her look like a fluffy ball. "Okay!" Wisteria chirped, back to her bubbly self. "You want to keep going?"

Adder raised an eyebrow. Or whatever cats have instead of eyebrows. "As long as it doesn't put either of our lives in danger, yes." Adder hesitated before saying this next part. She wasn't good at showing vulnerability. "I would be sad if you died. You're the only cat to have cared about me in a long time."

Wisteria blinked. "Well that's sad. I won't die on you, don't worry!" The white and yellow she-cat purred and gave Adder's Poison a hug. "You're a very nice cat. A good friend, Beautiful Venom." Wisteria pulled back slightly, beaming at the tan and orange she-cat with eyes the colour of liquid gold.

A good friend. Why did those words fall so flat to Adder's ears? Wasn't this what she had always wanted, a friend? Yes, ever since she was a lonely kit. So why did it stir a feeling of disappointment, somewhere deep down inside the shadowy depths of her heart? She shook her head, trying ti dismiss these strange notions. "Let's get going, then!" She chirped, putting on a bright tone. "Where are we going next?" It sounded blatantly fake to her, but maybe once they were on the way again all these icky feelings would stop. Eugh, they felt like snakes slithering through her stomach

Wisteria nodded, releasing Adder and bounding off, tail twirling. "Our next stop," She meowed cheerfully, waiting for her friend to catch up, "Is this big park! Its got massive trees, and its a big open space!" Wisteria said, smoothing her crinkled bow. The pink collar ruffled, some of it hiding underneath her puffy fur. Soon enough, they reach the park.

@Moondew (loving this plot ^^ Also maybe Wisteria forgot to mention there are dogs here.. O.O But they turn out to be friendly dogs lmao and Adder is maybe like whatt)

Adder trotted after Wisteria, tail lashing as she processed the chaos that was happening in her head right now. It was like a flood, fire and a horde of confused mice had all happened at once in the Emotions Den. But she managed to push that to the back of her mind as they reached the park. "It's very... big," she mewed, taking in the new scents and sounds. Twoleg kits running around and playing, mice and rats in the bushes, a faint canine stench. Canine? Adder wrinkled her nose. "Wisteria, there aren't any-" She was cut off by a hulking great beast bursting through the bushes, panting and slavering, baring its teeth in a ferocious snarl. Adder dug her claws into the ground as her fur spiked. "Dog!" She motioned Wisteria to run with her tail.
@Dreamheart (a friendly golden retriever pupper is smiling at them with his tongue out ^^ and yes greatest outsider plot i have ever been in. Also only outsider plot i have participated in but still the best lol)

Wisteria blinked again, looking confused even as she noted Adder's rather.. terrified expression. She looked at the dog. "Aww. No Beautiful, its fine. Look, this is Teddy!" The white and yellow kittypet bounded over to the dog, cooing. Wisteria gave him a pat on the head.. and he sat down, head cocked and panting, tail wagging like crazy. "The dogs here are nice! Mostly. But I know this guy, he's cute, isn't he?"

Adder stood there watching at Wisteria RAN STRAIGHT TOWARDS THE DOG. She opened her mouth to meow something, but paused as the dog... sat down? "Teddy?" Adder warily stepped closer to the hideous monster, watching how Wisteria was able to control it so easily. "You can talk to dogs? Or is it just a kittypet thing?" There weren't many dogs where Adder came from, and the ones that were were usually feral, starving and vicious. She looked at the dog, and recoiled in disgust as it licked her face. "Eww..."

Wisteria laughed, a sweet tinkling sound, like water and wind chimes. "Oh Beautiful Venom, I think Teddy likes you!" She said pulling the golden retriever away from Adder. She petted his head, and then pushed him gently so the dog ran off to its Housefolk owner. "Bye Teddy!" Wisteria called, turning back to her friend. "He'll be back later."

Adder watched as the dog left and breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, I don't like him," she declared, rubbing her face with a paw. She looked over at Wisteria. "So far, all of the places you have brought me to have got me wet. Unpleasanty wet. Can we go somewhere dry now?" It was at times like these when Adder missed the dustbowl where she had grown up.
