I would talk to your leader about the age requirement before abruptly aging your cat up. Some leaders are flexible with ages as long as your cat meets every requirement and isn't too young. You may also be able to arrange a special circumstance where your cat proves they're ready to be a warrior early.
Most roleplayers age their cats up either every month or every other month (1 moon = 1 month IRL or 2 months IRL.) Timeline wise it works pretty well with Clan events in roleplay - age jumping several moons does not.
