Scorchstrike sat away from the other cats with her head bowed. She may not have liked some of Icestar's methods, but she was a good leader despite her flaws. Scorchstrike just hoped Dawnstripe would do a decent job of leading the clan.

Sparklight went to do something she thought she’d never do. She padded over to Icestar’s body. She bowed her head in respect for the fallen leader. Alright, so she didn’t like the leader. But she protected her clan and deserved respect. And... it saddened her to see Icestar’s family holding vigil for her. Sparklight new that if something happened to her, no one would come. She had no family. She was alone.
”Goodbye, Icestar,” she murmured. “May StarClan light your path.” And with that, she sat down near the body.
