Vincent blinks, glancing sideways at the larger cat. "Wouldn't sharing a nest be warmer? It might get windy or rain again.. We can't get sick.."

Ripple’s eyes widened in surprise at the small black Tom. Does he mean it? Does he really want to share a nest with me? “yeah, that seems reasonable.” Ripple’s heart fluttered in his cheast.

Ripple walked over to a tree laden with moss and gripped the low growing plant in his jaws and dragged a large clump under the holly bush. A chilling breeze tugged at his short fur. Ripple shivered. He waited, interested to see what Vincent would bring to make the nest with. This will tell me more about where he comes from and a bit about how he lived before all this.

The small cat walked away, heading into the trees a ways. He then picked up a stone, bringing that back and pausing. "We should collect more rocks. To put around the nest to keep it from blowing away."

Ripple looked at Vincent with utter surprise and confusion. I’ve never seen anyone do that before! That’s pretty smart. “won’t that make the nest a bit lumpy? And we will have to keep moving soon won’t we?” Ripple pointed out, though he didn’t want to detour Vincent from his chosen material, he saw a few flaws that he thought should be pointed out.

Vincent nodded. "It doesn't make the nest lumpy if you put them around it. And it shouldn't take too long to gather them anyways."
