Stormbreeze rose to his paws, trying to dislodge the feelings of uneasiness that had been prickling at him for so long. The tensions between the clan seemed to be rising, and while Stormbreeze would fight to the death to protect Windclan's legacy, he didn't want his clanmates to needlessly die. Silentpaw had been practicing battle moves by herself by the apprentices' den when she heard her mentor's voice. Landing form a jump, the molly turned towards him. He was at the warriors' den looking for someone to hunt with it seamed. The silver Siamese shock the dust from her fur and headed over to Stormbreeze. As the apprentice reached her mentor she waved her tail. Though she didn't make a word. Why? Well she was mute, sadly, though it didn't seem to bother her. Standing there silently, the molly lightly touched her tail tip to her mentor's shoulder. It was the only why together his attention that she knew of. Tapping his shoulder.

He griined, then gave her an affectionate lick on the shoulder. "Well, It was nice seeing you Lunafall, but I am in desperate need of a nap. See you later." And with that, he spunky back to the warriors den.

"Perfect huh?" He purred out happily, settling down upon the spot he had picked for the two of them to enjoy their meal; his blue eyes beamed joyfully at hearing her say that the spot was perfect. Of course she might have only said that because his words had broken her out of a daze, or caught her off guard, but regardless, he couldn't help but feel particularly happy that she liked the spot he had chosen. Duskflight had settled perhaps a mouse-tail length away from her, not so close that their fur brushed at the sides, but close enough so that it wasn't an awkwardly far distance between them. He himself laid his piece of prey between his paws, ready to dig in, but not beginning until she began to. Not wanting to seem like a ravenous loner or anything of the sort.

"Birds are kind of tricky, timing is everything and you need good judgement. But they are definitely one of the better tasting preys that Windclan has to offer, if you ask me." The tom mewed lightly. Duskflight was a pretty fast tom, a few moons back, before he left the clan, he was named as one of the fastest in Windclan. Of course he humbly declined the title, considering himself mediocre at best, but it was the truth. He wasn't the fastest now, he was still recovering from nearly starving to death, but perhaps one day he'll make it back up there. For now, he would just have to stick to his strategies instead of relying on just speed. He only hoped he wasn't an embarrassment for Windclan now.

Windcrest felt her body heat up at the sound of Duskflight's purring. She felt happy that he was happy. She did, in fact, enjoy the spot he chose because he chose it and he thought it was a good spot for them. Duskflight obviously wanted to chose a spot for the both of him and Windcrest thought it was nice that he wanted them both to be happy with the spot. Settling on beside him, just a few mouse-tail lengths away. She looked over at Duskflight and let out a very adorable little chuckle. He was waiting for her to take a bite before he began eating, when his eyes gave away that he was hungry. That and if he didn't notice it, she thought she heard a small growl of displeasure by his stomach at waiting to be filled. The feline gave him a smile and leaned down to her piece of prey and took a small, dainty bite. The prey wasn't exactly fresh but it was prey, good enough for her. She didn't want him starving. Peaking over at him as she took another dainty bite, the feline watched the other as he would begin to eat. She wanted to see how funny he'd look finally feeling relieved he could eat now that she had taken a bite.

"Hmmm..." She murmured as she listened intently to the tom. "M-maybe...we could...uhmm." She stopped mid-sentence afraid the tom would be unwilling to help her with hunting the birds. Secretly, she just wanted to do something with him. She wanted to make him happy, happier than he seemed to be. Duskflight looked happy but he looked a little disconnected from WindClan, a bit like he felt like he didn't deserve to be in WindClan. Maybe it's because he had left for a short period of time? Windcrest wasn't sure but whatever he was feeling, Windcrest wanted to reassure him that he was accepted and he was certainly wanted in the clan. Windcrest almost looked cute as she acted shy about asking him to help her hunt the small birds. She wondered if he would want to. Knowing Duskflight, even for a short time told her he would definitely help her. "Would you help...me...maybe improve...my h-hunting sk...skills?" She tilted her head, almost kit like, making her look innocent and pure. The white oddly dappled feline waited, her cerulean gaze staring expectantly at the tom resting and eating before her.

Gorsebird let out a little yawn, "t-t-t-thank you Stormy I-i-i-i try my best." She sniffled continuing to blubber even after Stormglare had licked away her tears. "I can't h-h-help but worry Stormglare! Are kitties are premature a-a-and they could d-d-d-die at any moment!" Gorsebird wailed using her mate's pelt as a shield to the huge amount of sound she was making from all her sobbing as she still continued to idly rock a now snoozing Chestnutkit in her delicate petite paws, "What m-m-m-makes you assume that? Are you saying are sons won't be deputy or leader!?" She wept now convinced that Stormglare thought all the kittens were flawed and imperfect which in turn made her bawl louder, "Y-Y-You hate t-t-them d-d-d-don't you! Y-Y-Y-You hate our precious k-k-kits and you h-h--h-h-hhate me the fragile mother of them!" Gorsebird shrieked hoping she hadn't hurt her babies sensitive ears with all her noise, "and, now you're going to leave me for some pretty twenty mooner with no grey fur and a perfect body and face!" @Panda @Ninjasinsocks

"Well, that simply horrible!" Gorsebird whimpered putting Tempestkit by her stomach so she could give the other she-cat a comforting lick on the cheek, "You know right before this litter was born I lost one of my older kittens to greencough." She sniffled remembering her little Tawnykit and frowning, "Through I guess you right to not dwell on the past it will only bring about misery in most cases. And yes there's only five laying by my belly because three of my other kits are warriors and the one that isn't is playing with her father outside!" Gorsebird giggled getting back her cheerfulness at Wishpaw slight oblivion.
