Cuckookit, in an exploratory kinda mood, hobbles out of his nest on a mission. He's got this squinted up focused look and—oop! He trips over the lip of a nest that he knoooows was there...he just wasn't wasn't thinking about it.

"Ohsorry." Cuckookit trills a bashful apology, blinking hazy blue eyes at the queen who'd just settled down before contining on his way to another nest. He can't usually tell if a queen is in any lind of mood to be bothered by a kit who isn't hers, so he usually sticks to the safer fun.

Right now, that's Poppykit.

Without warning or welcome, Cuckookit helps himself right up to the edge of her nest, resting his chin on the moss and peering at her. Blink-blink-squint. It's a bit of a drag how much work goes into spying his clanmates in the dark like this, but he's sure it'll get easier to see them with more practice.

"Hello."

The shekitten was just twitching in her nest,
turning until she found a comfortable sleeping position.
She didn’t expect anything else other then a
good sleep, after all running around all day
was truly exhausting! Okay, maybe she was exaggerating
on that one. Either way, it felt nice
to be in her mossbed.

Especially when you were alone. But that seemed
it wasn’t the case. Poppykit stiffens as the
glint of two eyes stare at her. What
in the world-? Poppykit strains to listen to
the brushing of moss, deciding to take one
paw and stretch it out to [ hopefully ] meet fur.

“H-Hi.Who’s there?” the kit murmurs, loud enough
to hear.

Bonepaw listened and watched as Nightshiver explained and demonstrated.
Sometimes leave edges as a base. If they're not too dirty.

Bendy sticks.
Weaved together.
Hollow in the middle.

Okay.
Simple.

Bonepaw mimicked what she had done, moving away old moss and replacing it with the new.
His weaving was definitely a little messier than Nightshiver's, but he was... managing.

"Me."

That's about as much of an introduction as Cuckookit bothers giving before he's hoisting himself up and into the nest with Poppykit. Part of it is to see her better. More of it is that he likes to sit in comfy nests.

One big yawn later and the pale tom is setting down like he sleeps here, too. He blinks sleepily.

"Oh. Cuckookit." It occurs to him far too late that she must not know his name. He's not very sure what hers is, either. She's younger than him, so maybe he's heard it mentioned, but...it's very difficult for him to put names to faces. "I don't know which name is yours. But I know a lot of names." He doesn't want to sound totally ignorant. "So which are you?"

She saw cuckookit bothering poppykit and she got up and walked to them "cuckookit stop bothering poppykit she was sleeping and you spooked her probably "she said looking at poppykit "she is only one moon" she said but there was no getting poppykit to fall asleep if cuckookit woke her up which he did and he wanted to talk anyways so there was no way to get him to let her fall asleep

Me. Hm? That was it?Poppykit blinks multiple times, attempting to force her green eyes to get used to the dark. Multiple shivers are sent down her spine as she hears the rustling of mossbed again, her head jerking back at the yawn.

She wants to say something. A little ”Uh-“ escapes the kittens mouth, but she thinks better of her wording choice and keeps quiet. Cuckookit. What an interesting name. Poppykit opens her mouth into a yawn, stretching her forelegs. “Ah. Me? It’s Poppykit,” she answers in a cool-ish way, giving her fur two awkward licks.
