Creeping among the garden of a nearby neighbor, the timid young adult cat looks around before ducking under a broad leaf as a twoleg walks past. Hearing a calling sound, they lunge deeper into the plants before slamming full force into another cat. Stopping, they look up with their wide bright blue eyes before stumbling back a few steps.

"S-sorry, so, so, so sorry!" They squeak before hiding behind a thick stalk of an unknown - at least to them - green leaf.

Fire turned around and hissed at the cat who'd bumped him. "Who are you, thinking you can sneak up on me like that?" He was smaller than the cat, but he was definitely fiercer.

They shake their head, backing up further until their rear end is pressed firmly against another tall, green stalk. "N-no, I didn't m-mean to bump into y-you!" They mew near frantically as their wide, innocent eyes dart back and forth among the innumerable stalks of green plant surrounding them.

Seeing how scared the cat was, Fire calmed down, letting his voice . "Sorry, I didn't know if you were attacking me or not. You don't need to be scared." He let his fur lie flat, his tail drop, and his eyes soften, hoping to let them calm down. He would hate to traumatize a cat.

Seeing the other cat's body language relax, they decide to relax a bit. Looking at the other cat, Ginger bows their head. "H-hi, I'm Ginger."

Fire nodded his head. "Fire, what are you doing here?" He noticed they looked like either a kittypet or something close to it, definitely not a forest cat.
