Heathernose purred loudly, leaning her head against his chest. She could hear his heart pounding as loudly as her's, and loved the sound. The wiry she-cat was delighted when Lightnight's tail was twined with her's, and she looked up at him with such warmth in her gaze. "I...I'm in love with you too, Lightnight." She purred softly, touching her muzzle to his. "I never...I never thought I could feel this way again after Lionscar... But then you came along," she smiled at him, a slightly teasing light in her eyes, "and you proved me wrong." She gave his cheek a gentle lick. "Don't get too used to me being wrong though!" She teased.

Lightnights heart immedetly fluttered at her confession. Purring brightly as she licked his cheek and teased him about being wrong. "Noted. From now on everything you say is right" Lightight teased. His yellow eyes brimming with happiness. He gently nuzzles her cheek as she rested her head on his chest. "I never though after my first love I would have another as well....so I guess we were both wrong" he purred. His twined tail tip gently caressing her tail. He looked down at her fondly. Happy she was seemingly comfortable with there close vicinity. "Does this mean..." Lightnight nervously flicked his ears. "You'll be...or I mean will you be....my..my mate?" Lightnight asked.

Heathernose purred with delight and amusement at Lightnight's return of her tease. She touched her nose to his, a playful smirk on her maw now. "Good. I see you learn quickly." She purred. Heathernose rubbed her head under Lightnight's chin in a show of affection and empathy. She didn't remember him telling her about a first love, but they did move fairly quickly. There was probably a lot they never talked about, like his other brother that he mentioned briefly. Her gaze brightened with warmth and she couldn't help but purr loudly at his question. My what a silly tom he was. Mischief glistened in her eyes briefly, she was tempted to tease him but decided he'd probably keel over if she did so she thought better of it. Heathernose touched her muzzle to Lightnight's again, blinking up at him lovingly. "Of course I will. Proudly and happily." She purred.
