[Assessment] I think i need a life or maybe nine

Coyotepaw padded proudly into camp, dropping his prey on the pile he looked around. He'd finally finished his last training lesson- now he just needed a warrior to give him his assessment. His different-colored gaze scanned the camp, who did he feel would be a good assessor?

His eyes settled on a pretty pale brown warrior he'd seen a few times before. Coy had said hi in passing, but not much more than that. He always got nervous around the tom, ever since they'd shared the apprentice den, even if just for a moon. He sighed heavily, shaking the thought from his head.

He wasn't sure how awkward this question would be, but he figured it was reasonable for him to ask this of his clanmate.

"Hey uh- Honeywillow right? My mentors kind of busy right now- Would you mind assessing my combat?" They asked, curiously tilting their head curiously.

"Uh..." he paused for a moment, not quite expecting the app so close to his age to come to him but nodded. " Of course, I'd be delighted to assess your combat darling." he hopped to his fluffy paws his long tail swaying "It wasn't that long ago since I was just like you ya know. W did share the apprentice den for a moon right?" The tom smiled shaking out his long fur, honestly, he couldn't care less but he didn't mind this. He knew this other tom was quite nervous around him so it just made him that more gitty to get attention somehow.


"You've grown up so fast!" he chuckled as he looked at coyote. it had been a while since he really got into a battle or anything like that but he did like helping, somewhat. More so he just liked attention.. And would take any opportunity to have it. Attention was always what he valued most. "I guess training went well then?"

The apprentice felt his pelt grow hot at the pet name; his tail tip twitched behind him as he considered how to respond "Th-thanks" He murmured, his gaze falling to Honeywillow's paws "uh- yeah. Your nest was the closest to the center- or at least one of the closest to the center" He said furrowing his brows, why did he know that off the top of his head? Way to be weird Coy.

Coyotepaw's gaze lifted once more, trying his best to meet Honeywillow's, though with Honey's long fur obscuring his gaze it added an extra layer of mystery to what exactly this tom was thinking, he seemed to be pleasant, so Coy decided to relax.

The large apprentice nodded, a small grin crossing his maw "I think it's less me growing and more you staying the same size" He teased, sticking his tongue out playfully. His tail tip twitched behind him as he nodded once more "Yeah- Spiritrain's been a pretty great mentor" He said with a hum, thinking back fondly on his past training.

The smaller tom chuckled, wow this guy remembered everything about their time together, even down to the nest " Awe, You even remembered my nest that's so sweet of you! You must be a real smart guy!" he hummed. Yeah, that was weird but it was also so useful. If this tom remembered so much eh could easily have him wrapped around his paw in seconds!


he chuckled, he was rather small " I suppose you're right I just stayed small." he smiled, well this was an interesting thought, he shook his fur out a bit before padding closer. It's Not too close but trying to make sure he seems friendly, and very sweet. contrary to his actual thoughts.

"Great mentor huh? This is nice let's get your assessment started, shall we? then you'll join me with the warriors !" he purred He couldn't help it, it's just so easy to. mess with coy! He's gonna have fun! he could care less if he hurt him in the long run. He doesn't care about coy, but this is still a fun chat!
