Splashleap was present, shivering and doing her absolute best to stay to the center of the crowd lest Deadmoon be about. She knew the other molly would stick towards the outside of the crowd, not being the most.....socially competent. Best to stay somewhere with lots of other cats, and she was nice and warm as an added benefit. (Open)

Splashleap had been correct in her assertion that Deadmoon would avoid other cats like they carried greencough. The newer Windclan fury was sticking close to the edge of the clearing, not wanting to risk a chat with....just about anyone. She supposed she could manage it if need be, age had taught her that sometimes forced politeness was a necessary skill, but it wouldn't be her favorite activity of all time. Owlpaw's disappearance had left her feeling a bit raw, and she wasn't sure how much conversation she could make. Whatever. She would manage it if need be. Perhaps she could make another friend. Yeah right. YEAH. RIGHT. Marigoldpaw, Rookscreech (though she'd lasted longer than the others), Creeksplash. All gone. Other-clan friends didn't work. Then again that might just be the world they lived in. Most friendships ended up with someone dead eventually. Deadmoon sat in rather sullen silence, shivering and doing her best to keep herself warm with her tail. It wasn't working great, but the attempt was worth something. (OPEN)

Sneezepaw came a-tumbling into the clearing, a wide grin on their face. This was their second Gathering, but that was still pretty exciting! Though, well, not quite as exciting as last time. Hmm... actually, that was kind of sad. Would they never feel that same kind of excitement? Never ever again? Huh. Well, they'd just have to find a super-duper exciting cat to talk to, and then it would be even better than last time! Their eyes opened wide, scanning the clearing for potential victims... and there! An apprentice from another Clan! PREPARE TO BE TALKED TO!
"Hi!" chirped Sneezepaw, practically tripping over themself to come to a sudden stop after having raced over. "What's your name? I'm Sneezepaw! From WindClan, by the way. What's your name?" After just barely allowing enough time for the other cat to answer, they continued. "I wonder what they're gonna talk about tonight!" they bounced up and down on their paws, gesturing vaguely at the leaders seated on the rock with their tail. If last time was anything to go off of, their excitement might allow them to catch just a few words here and there... But they wanted to talk, and that was something to talk about!

Oh joy! Her first Gathering! Padding along with her Clanmates to the Seastones, the tabby tortoiseshell had a large smile on her face. She sat down near the rest of her Clanmates. She couldn't wait to see the other cats from ThunderClan, ShadowClan, and RiverClan! Would they be nice? Or were they as mean as the other kits and apprentices made them sound? Surely they can't be that bad? Rumours spread quick, after all, Windpaw learnt the hard way. Her tail curled around her paws as she looked around the place with a pleasant look. Seems like ThunderClan and RiverClan's already arrived!

Windpaw so thought she would have to sit through this whole Gathering alone, but suddenly, the stars had blessed her with a new friend. With a wide smile, Windpaw turned to the newcoming, blinking in greeting.
"Hi!" She narrowed her eyes slightly, trying to figure out what Clan the apprentice was from. First off, definitely not WindClan, and well, she didn't smell like fish, and ShadowClan hadn't arrived yet soooo... ThunderClan! "Windpaw here, you?"

The tom ruffled his fur, the chill starting to bleed into his pelt even with its winter coat in full force. He couldn't even imagine what it must be like for Miss Lightningstorm, and Miss Twilightstar, and Crowtooth... Rabbitpaw felt a shudder run through him at the thought, the force causing him to falter in his steps for just a moment before giving a quick bound to return to his mentors side. "It does feel colder... I was born around this time, so this is the first time I'm out of a nursery for it, you know?" That was a strange thought wasn't it? Was he even in Windclan during the time of his first leaf fall? Rabbitpaw was around 2 moons when he was brought in right? The memories were fuzzy of that time, but he remembered Snowkit... and Duskkit. He smiled to himself...
Oh.. Wolfpaw was here already, didn't Thunderclan arrive after them? Or really, literally right after Windclan walked in? The other herbalist was quite quick then, or he and his mentor were taking longer than he originally thought they were. It was possible, with him being so rounded up in his thoughts that he hardly even noticed they had made it to the medicine sitting spot until he nearly bumped into the perch. The tan feline flicked his tattered ear as he heard Miss Lightningstorm and Crowtooth bicker about something or another, would they end up a stack again? It certainly made sure he was cozy enough last time... but it was probably unprofessional to do that all the time.. probably a one time thing.
Though he would silently mourn it, as he hopped up beside his mentor. "It's already so cold... It's strange why we choose this as our meeting place. Rocks, water, cold... sounds like a recipe for disaster?" He knew enough- well he knew that Quailheart used to keep little Rabbitkit bundled up in the nursery during rainy days 'because you'll catch a cold.' The memory of his mother, as brief as it was, turned the polite smile on his face into one of bittersweetness. Was Quailheart among the stars right now? Looking down? Was she proud of what Rabbitpaw has achieved?
"Hello Wolfpaw, how're you? If you want you can sit on this side of me, I don't mind blocking the wind for you... only if you want to, of course." He awkwardly offered, padded at his side unaccompanied by his mentor, it was probably a strange request from a cat of a different clan- but they were all medicine cats, naturally more neutral within reason and within each other, understanding a craft that most other cats don't, at least not at the level expected from the clans' healer... and overall Thunderclan and Windclan haven't had any too recent tension between them. Also... Rabbitpaw just kind of sort of, didn't mind. He was a kind feline at heart, and at gatherings he can be at peace with that.
