- A large dark brown tom with a darker back and lighter underbelly, a missing hind leg -
The brown tripod turned his head as fleakit entered the den, the medicine cat cocked his head to the side. He glanced down at the kit's paw, realizing a thorn stuck in it. Ah. Wolfpaw hobbled over, glancing down at the kitten's paw. He vaguely remembered something similar, a warrior getting a stone stuck in their paw. A thorn couldn't be that much different, right? "Alright, ima pull it out, but fair warnin its gonna hurt," he told them before grasping the thorn between his teeth. With a hard pull upwards, the medicine cat pulled the thorn out. As expected, a spurt of blood accompanied it. The tom spat the thorn to the side, backing up to give fleakit his space. "alright, you're gonna clean your paw off to get the blood off, then just try not to get it dirty. If anythin feels wrong or it gets worse, come straight back to me, got it?" he said, giving the kit a smile and a purr.
"YOUCH!" Fleakit hollered out as the thorn got pulled out of his pad. Seeing the blood... It was fine with prey but his own made him feel very faint. The kit took a moment to take a seat before he started to lick his paw till it wasn't bleeding as much. It needed time to scab over, but for now maybe he could pester his father about his horrible battle wound? Yeah that sounded like a good idea, it was certain to get Spiderthroat's attention!
"I will never step on it forever!" His eyes gleamed brightly before he let out a little snicker. "Thank you Wolfpaw! I will be your forever friend for saving me this day!" With that Fleakit hobbled out of the den with extreme care to not step on the paw.
Sunflowerpaw ThunderClan Apprentice
She / Her ; 9 Moons
Sunflowerpaw's amber hues narrowed, flicking from Bumblestar as the leader arrived to Adderfang as he explained what he had done, and then to Wolfpaw as the Medicine Cat began spitting out threats.
But, Adderfang hadn't explained everything.
...and it ticked Sunflowerpaw off.
Wrapping her thick tail around Slypaw's shoulders, the she-cat aimed a nasty glare at her friend's father, a fire lit in her amber hues. ''If you're going to own up to attempting to hit Slypaw and hitting me, then perhaps you should own up to all the things you said to Slypaw before you did,'' Sunflowerpaw hissed irritably. ''Such as telling him he couldn't eat unless he earned the right, and telling him that he doesn't deserve his title as an apprentice, and that he doesn't deserve anything. Wolfpaw's right; you are a monster, Adderfang. Slypaw didn't deserve anything that you told him! He didn't deserve the things you put him through!''
Personally, Sunflowerpaw didn't care if Bumblestar heard. Actually, she wanted Bumblestar to hear her, because Wolfpaw wouldn't have called the ThunderClan Leader into the den if he hadn't.
[ feel free to shut her up, but she's angry that Adderfang isn't telling the entire truth. ]
