Wish

Wish yawns softly, her paws tired from today's journey, nowhere ever feels right after long. However, the nomadic life isn't too bad. She used to live like this before a certain cat came along, and it was lovely.
But now she has kits and responsibilities to tend to, so at times it's not very convenient to be in such a predicament. Speaking of her darling little kits, they should be tired right about now, right? She looks back at the two, her eyes softening at the sight of her offspring. They really are just too adorable, they received some good genes from their father.

"Are you alright back there angels? It's about time we settle down for a bit, hmm?" She says, her naturally bubbly voice gentle as she speaks to the two little ones.

LITTLE KILLER II
He/Him

Four moons old. Four moons old and what had he to show for it? Barely any family left. If Killer hadn't felt an obligation to his dearest mother, he'd have took the easy route and left by now. Alas, who would protect Wish with her frivolous nature and penchance for being nice to every single living creature who crossed their path? That's what Killer saw it as, anyway.

He even bet that if he wasn't so much like his infamous father - hmph, some good that had done. The lad was gone, or dead. Whichever suited. - then he'd have been named something like Butterfly or worse, Onyx. Like his sister. Okay, perhaps that wasn't so bad. ...He supposed.

Angels. Okay, that was officially the worst name ever. Killer fixed his mother with an unimpressed amber glare as he meets his mother's eyes. "My name isn't Angel, Mum." The four-moon-old grunted eventually, with all the haughtiness a kit-going-on-the-teenage-phase could muster. Well, soon enough, that was. Sometimes Killer didn't realize how little he really was. Ah, the joys and idiocies of being young.

The oversized female kit trailed after her brother, Watching his back as she followed her mother through the forest, unsure of where they were going.

It was depressing on how most of her family were dead. (Or suddenly vanished. Otherwise, dead). It disheartened her. She wanted to grow up with all of them and be the strongest family ever! But, sadly dreams are only made to be crushed.

As mother called back towards them, she glanced at her brother. I wonder why he's so upset of the name angel? It sounds great! Of course, not understanding Angel was just a pet name, she called out.
"Hey ma? Are we changing his name to Angel! If so I vote we should!" A goofy smirk on her face.

Wish

Wish giggles a bit at the kits' misunderstanding, padding back there with an amused purr.

"Oh dear, I don't think we'll be changing your brother's name you silly girl," She muses, her tone affectionate as she nuzzles Onyx's little face.

She then looks around, her eyes locking on a clearing up ahead. That looks like a nice place to stay for a bit, plenty of shelter would be provided from the bushes. The lithe silver molly smiles, gently scooping up her kits by the scruff and padding over to the area. Once they reach the clearing, she sets them both down, her maw turned upwards in a smile. Her smile becomes a bit sadder after a moment as a thought flicks through her mind.

There should be more of us here right now.

She lies down with a soft thump as her body hits the earth, a slight sigh escaping her lips. She hasn't quite yet decided what she should do, obviously it's her duty and joy to raise her dear kits, but she can't help but feel like she's let them down somehow. She wants them to have a father, more siblings to frolic with, a big happy family for them, perhaps even a home. But she shakes her head, dislodging the spaced-out expression from her face.

"Alright, so we'll be staying here for a little bit, okay?" She announces, her cheerful tone resurfacing, "Go ahead, explore a little."

She wraps her fluffy tail around herself, gesturing that Onyx and Killer can go play now.

LITTLE KILLER II

Orange eyes cut a glare towards his sister at her cheeky remark. Killer had to physically bite back an indignant retort that he was no angel, he was a ferocious killer! He was his father's heir! ...If that even meant something. The bristling his dark fur was doing calmed down considerably once Wish made clear that his name would be remaining the same. Good, at least his Mum still had sense, even if Onyx did not.

Where his mother settles down, Killer wanders off, not even needing any further invitation to explore. And find himself a quiet, dark little corner to occupy, no doubt. No Onyx's allowed, obviously.
