Once More Unto the Breach!
Hello everyone!
Been a while since I was last here! Even though I've been hanging around the discord for a few days and wrote a couple rp posts, I thought I would give a proper re-introduction, since it seems there are several around who have joined more recently!
My name is Dizerel, I also go by Diz or Juni. I've been part of WCO for a very long time, since before the site migration in 2016! My relationship with this site is very cyclical. I'll hang around for a year or two, before inevitably I either get burnt out or drama occurs that drives me away, in which I spend another couple years on my own. Only to get the itch to roleplay edgy cats again, and return.
I'm currently in grad school to get my masters in social work! Meaning that once I'm done, I'll be getting my license to become a therapist! It has been a long journey for me to get here, and if you have any questions at all about therapy, social work, or mental health, shoot them my way! (Disclaimer: This is NOT an offer to be anyone's therapist. Merely to answer questions about the field that I study/work in)
As part of grad school, I have my practicum, which is basically an academic internship. I work at a PRTF, or more specifically a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. I am limited in what I can say about it due to confidentiality. But my experience has truly been awesome, and I feel like I'm learning a whole lot!
As for info about my roleplaying. I started my roleplaying journey here, on WCO! I'm very thankful for it, because it was very shortly after I started WCO that I also began playing Dungeons and Dragons. I feel like I have learned a lot from both, and have continued to improve over the years. Nowadays, I focus on quality, rather than quantity of posts. The same goes for my characters as well, I only have 3 at the time of posting this. I really want to make sure each individual character is fleshed out and compelling. I constantly check myself to make sure the characters are relatable in some way, while also having flaws, and something original that they bring to the table.
I'm happy to roleplay with anyone at anytime, regardless of their experience with roleplaying! Please, message me if you are ever interested!
