Her gaze shifted away from him and around the clearing, she then turned her eyes back on him. He was staring at her. "Um....do I have something on my face? Why do you keep staring at me." she said curiously with a tilt of her head.

She sensed awkwardness in his response…so her question was as bad as she thought it would be, huh? “Yeah- it’s chilly…m’ fur helps a bit though…” not during those cold sleepless nights though…the bitter chill kept her up then. She was about to try to carry on the conversation but then another cat came over, a warrior now. “I’m good!” she chirped…she was exhilarated however. Being an apprentice, her father as her mentor…all as she dreamed it, a paradise.

Mothflame was glad to know the younger cat was doing fine. She let out a low purr, and gave Fireflypaw an amused look.

"Good, good. I'm doin' well, too." She nodded, shifting her position slightly. "The weather sure is gettin' colder by the day. But honestly, I don't think I mind all that much. Besides something in particular botherin' me a tad, I'd say I'm doin' pretty good." Mothflame frowned slightly as she recalled the incident with Adderfang, Slypaw, and Sunflowerpaw a while ago. That monster. Slypaw was safe, now, but there was still a long road to healing for the young tom.
