Thistle could only sit, guilt hanging from her, weighing her down. She was dead. She was dead. Her tail curled around her paws and she crouched, gaze wide on the ground. That wasn’t supposed to happen and now- now what? She was expecting kits, that’s what.

Patrol time…splendid. He padded towards the entrance and stood tall, allowing his voice to boom through the clearing. “CAT’S! LISTEN UP! Time for patrols. If you don’t hear your name don’t haul your whining ass over to me. You’ll be on one sooner or later.” he warned, gaze cold and serious. “N’ all patrols, be cautious. We’ve still gotta cougar wanderin’ about. Do everything you can to steer clear of its path.”

Camilla hurridly padded after Blood at his beckoning. He appeared more..frantic than usual, well, more keen on discussing things it seemed. Dipping her head in greeting to Ares she lingered behind her teacher as he started his rather crazed ranting. This would be...something. Definitely, something.

She shifted as the older healer continued, going on in great detail about anatomy and all things related. Brows subtly raised, she glanced towards the blurry shape of her cousin for a reaction, before her attention was captured by Blood once again. 'Little soft girl' the titled made her softly scoff. Everyone seemed intent on labelling her the sweet, damsel in distress. It was truthfuly a bit infuriating. Being friendly didn't make her harmless, they'd
have to learn that. Was there any harm in putting cats back in their place once in a while?

"I believe I'll manage. No need to worry about me, I was a trapper after all." Camilla hummed matter of factly, corners lips turning upwards in her signature soft grin. Blood and guts weren't all that common to one of her previous rank. They not only set traps, they did have to collect their prisoners as well and whatever poor creature that got caught was usually good as dead by the time she arrived.

Fossa spotted who they guessed was Crimson and went over.

"Oomph!"

The tom kit gasped as he landed with a hard thud on his on rump. He looked indignantly at Feather for a brief moment, but quickly hopped back up onto his paws with glittering eyes of fascination. "Wow! You're so quick, Feather!" He squeaked excitedly. "You have to teach me everything you know! Are you the fastest trapper? No- are you the best one? You've gotta be if you can outwit me!" He purred as he bounced laps around the she-cat. "Can you be my mentor when it's my turn to be an initiate? I could be one right now- don't ya think? Let's go ask Ares!"

Without waiting for an answer, Gaius skittered his way towards the Crown just as he mentioned the cougar. "Wow! A cougar?!" He breathed ecstatically. "...Wait. What's a cougar?" Ah, whatever. Whatever it was, he was sure Ares could handle it...especially with the great Gaius help! Ahem...

Despite his energy, the kit was no fool. He dipped his head as low as possible to show great respect for the Crown. His idol! Well, apart from Feather now. But Ares was his main one- duh. He should be everyone's. Anyways..."Crown Ares! He breathed excitedly, tail quivering. He dared to glance up from his bowed position. "Let me help! I could become an initiate and train with Feather so we can trap this...cow-ger!"
