The Otter in distress, comforted by the feathering Cotton

Ottersplash took a deep breath before continuing. "I- I'm a . . . murderer . . . and . . . s- so much more . . . I-" she paused before continuing. "I've outright murdered cats . . . I- I've poisoned cats . . . I- I've done s- s- so many b- bad t- things . . ." she sniffled. Tears were running down her cheeks. "I- I regret all of it . . . a- all of the lives I took . . . all the c- c- cats who didn't have to d- die w- who did . . . a- at m- my o- own paws . . ."Ottersplash was full on crying now. "I- I'm a t- terrible e- excuse f- for a c- cat . . ."

Ottersplash looked down at her paws, tears running down her face. She looked so miserable, so upset.

Ottersplash looked down at her paws, tears running down her face. She looked so miserable, so upset.

Cotton nodded gently, his eyes softening as he gently sat beside Ottersplash, placing his long white tail along her shoulder, seeing the tears of a cat pained him. "Well..... seeing as the fact your bawling and calling yourself these names. I suppose you feel guilty, and guilt is the part I commend the most. If you weren't guilty and casual about killing them I'd kick you out right here right now." Cotton meowed, he softened his casual tone to make it seem like he was as sympathetic as he......clearly didn't sound. Cotton mewed, "Honestly........ I wasn't there, and I wasn't apart of it.... so I can't judge you for why. But I'm advising you... don't forget it but don't let it bother you. Get it? I've killed cats to, trust me your not alone... I had to kill my own mother... so truly, I understand. I fyou ever want to talk then you know I'm here, and hey, stay if you want."

Cotton gave a fond smile. His little white cheeks rumbling in a gentle purr as he pressed his cheek to hers in a friendly gesture of acceptance and kindness "Good, it'll take a bit to get over don't get me wrong I still have nightmares time to time. But in the end, it all gets better and most cats forgive and forget...or just forget" Cotton purred lightly. "Anyways. Let's take both of our minds off of the depressing stuff. Tell me about yourself. Unless you'd rather I start?" He meowed. Fluffy white curly tail resting over his paws.

Cottons bright gaze softened at her purr. Purring gently the Tom nodded, "well.. you know my names Cotton. I moved out when I was pretty young... my sister Strawberry visits me a lot.. so don't be surprised if an annoying ginger ball of fur jumps at you." Cotton teasingly meowed. "Uhm.. I was in a fire accident at he farm when I was young, it's the reason why I can't speak loudly, causes to much breath" Cotton mewed. "Then.... I found out my ma started the fire, the fire killed our brother Mango's kit, Bluebell. So me and Mango took revenge on her... we tried to just kick her out but... I let my emotions get ahead of me and killed her... " Cotton mewed. Pausing as he closed his eyes, "Mango appears once in a blue moon. He's a large ginger Tom with black ears. Hard to miss." Cotton mewed. Flicking his curly tail once as he looked at her, "I had a mate, when I was about 20 moons. It was dumb young love. But she left me for some dumb Tom just because he looked smarter. But in my head, you gotta be smarter and stronger in the head, physical strength ain't everything " Cotton snorted, half amused half annoyed. "But yeah. Oh! Relating to the clans, my father was a Riverclan warrior. His name is Hawksun, but he died in some dumb battle with the other clans." Cotton added quickly, "No offense"

Ottersplash listened to Cotton, as he explained stuff about himself. She didn't really know what to say. "I- you've been through . . a lot . . ." was all that she could get out. "And no offense taken . . ."
