Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Goldenwhisker nodded. Wormpaw! She yowled, her voice ringing through the clearing. Get over here! If Smoketail wanted to see him, he would see it.
@Splitmoon ; Smoketail (Wormpaw's adoptive father)

A muscular big wolf like form padded out of the warriors den and into the clearing. Wolfclaw sat down in front of the entrance before turning his gaze behind him. “Blacklily.”
A soft slim but beautiful black she-cat with lighter black splotches padded out after him. Her silver eyes looked at her brother, Wolfclaw. “Yes?
Wolfclaw sighed. “Be careful if you go out today.”
Blacklily smiled softly. “I will.”she meowed before padding away
Wolfclaw sighed as he looked up at the sky, the sun was bright. He worried at lot. Worried even more than before.

Brr, it was getting cold! Hillstrider tucked his big paws further into his warm underbelly. The clearing hummed with activity, all manner of conversations reaching Hillstrider's rounded ears. Words flit in and out of his head without much processing, simply background noise for his relaxing evening.
He sort of hoped Briarsplash might come sit with him, but even with his very obvious search for her--he was trying to be subtle, honest--he couldn't spot her. Oh well, next time. Instead, what he found was much smaller and much more inclined to see him as a jungle gym...
It was like chaos was a part of her destiny. There couldn't have been a better warrior sitting alone in the clearing than Hillstrider himself. The large orange fluff captivated the fiery eyes of Dawnstar's more chaotic creatures. She wasted NO time shimmying her way across the clearing in the best hunting crouch she could muster. The crouch that Rookfire had taught her!
"You think you can see me... no you can't," Scorpionkit would speak softly once she was within earshot of Hillstrider. Whether he abided by the rules or not, she would stalk closer and closer, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
shimmy, shimmy
wiggle, wiggle

"YOU'RE MINE, ORANGE MAN!!!" Scorp would shout, launching herself at the side of the warrior. Needle-like claws would sink into her fur and the she-kit would attempt to climb up onto his back, then his shoulders, and if she could successfully do it, she'd end up on his head. Regardless of where Hillstrider allowed her to climb, the kitten would simply shriek:
And here is Swantooth, appearing once more only to be a nuisance with her big, hollow eyes and her unyielding nosiness. She'd been passing from the warriors' den toward the freshkill pile when she had overhead the brief exchange between Wolfclaw and Blacklily. Was any of that her business? No, of course it wasn't. Would that stop her from halting in her tracks, turning bodily toward Wolfclaw, and asking him that question out of the blue? Also no. Sometimes the fog clears and Swantooth has no choice but to peek her head into other cats' lives...and typically whenever that happens, her prying little paws are soon to follow.
Wolfclaw turned his gaze on Swantooth, he glared at her with his dark brown eyes. "She's not stupid, and you better watch your mouth or I'll report you to the deputy or the leader for your behavior." the wolf like tom didn't take words very lightly especially if they were about his sister. "Get lost."
His gaze shifted away from the she-cat and on to the clearing, his gaze then shifted back to the she-cat. "What are you doing? Didn't I tell you to get lost?"
the gathering. it was tonight. the cat glanced around with a mix of scorn and sorrow creasing her brow, eyeing the thin layer of frost that had laid itself across the clearing. the heavy feeling in her chest was still there, it was starting to concern willowpaw quite a bit. why wasn't she back to her happy-go-lucky atrociously stupid self already? that muddled and tired feeling still clung onto her thoughts, even though she'd managed to get well over enough rest. the cat tore up rime-sprinkled grass below her without realizing it. she didn't want to feel like this forever. even if she somewhat hated her usual personality, the cat didn't want to be this... whatever it was, anymore. maybe she'd try acting stupid at tonight's gathering to encourage herself to be the dense willowpaw again..... the thought wasn't one the cat liked, but life was getting boring like this. a sudden prickle of cold interrupted her train of thought, and the cat glanced up, eyes trailing through the sky before staring at the sun slowly dipping towards the horizon. night soon she thought somberly. the cat's thought spiraled away into a slow ramble about how cold it was going to be at the gathering, only a slight undertone of concern about how whiny she was getting.
