He was feeling more like himself today- more energy than he had as of late thanks to his numerous injuries and fights to recover from. Perhaps time to speak with a…friend? Yeah- yeah she was a friend. He scanned the den before seeing her, padding up carefully. “RedMire, how’ve ya been?” he asked, considering how it had been a while.

Her happiness was largely noticeable for himself…it was sweet. Then upon his question she dimmed. Crap- did he mess up? No- no her smile was back. It was okay. He listened as she explained. Sure- loner and clan life were the only things he’d ever know as long as it was up to him. He simply wasn’t built for that kind of life, to be catered to and taken care of and not having to do anything…it didn’t entertain his thoughts.

WisteriaWren had to flee…her two-le- upwalker…Greta?…Greta passed away. It was even evident to himself, even though he wouldn’t say anything about it. “Oh…I’m- sorry…” he shared sincere condolences with the cat he cared so much for. He leaned down and rested his head on hers for a moment before lifting himself again and just…staring for a few moments. Such sad events happened to her but…in a way there was a joy to it? If…Greta hadn't passed then WisteriaWren most likely wouldn’t be here and RowanMane had no idea what he’d do without her.
