| Cardinalkit | 1-3 Moons - WindClan Kit
No Purrks
Cardinalkit's feral grin spread as Egretkit agreed to her plans for forest domination. Well, she had only agreed to one step. To apprenticeship earlier. But as far as the Maine Coon mix was concerned, it counted. This was excellent, and certainly elevated her cousin above the mere status of less lesser than the peasants because we are technically related that she had previously held. No no, now she was officially a lackey. A chum. Someone she could count on to do her bidding. Well... perhaps not. Maybe a trial period first. But this could be useful to her in the long run regardless. After all, dominion over all cats begun with a single one.
"We should like, totally do that then. Obvs you coming with. It would be much better if we both like, show up than just one. More teamwork. More clan like, you know?" the kit mewed as she got up, frosty green eyes lighting up with genuine excitement as she stared at her cousin intensely.
Despite her words, Cardinalkit's intentions were far from selfless. She had no intention to work with anyone outside of her sisters. The clan might be destined to serve her, but they weren't worthy of her. No, she just needed Egretkit for one very particular reason. She needed someone to say please.
The young kit wasn't so stubborn that she couldn't say it. She knew it was necessary to gain some perks from the adults. It didn't mean she liked it, though, even if her pleading would be to the technical supreme ruler of the moors. It made her feel weak. Trod on. Like her father. Pathetic.
Besides. This served a double purpose. She could test out just how malleable this Egretkit was. Figure out the best way to refine her talking to other cats. To get them to do what she wanted. To turn them into proper soldiers for her purposes. Not that it should take too much work, obvs. After all, what cat wouldn't want to help a cat as perfect as she? Especially when under her control, she would stop all wars in the forest. Seeds would never have to be in danger. Ber would stop having to be in constant lookout for the rock heads. All the other cats had to do was bow to her... or perish like vermin.
"Come on, come on! Let's go!" she added before turning and bounding over towards the Galewood.

| I would be happy to have Cardinalkit and Egretkit go and bother Twilightstar for this, but I understand if you would prefer to drop the roleplay here, so let me know if you would like to have them follow up there. |

"Yes!" He declared. "A hunting competition, and winner gets...." Well.... actually he hadn't thought that far ahead. Whoops. He sat and thought for a moment, his eyes narrowing in concentration before his expression lit up with delight. "Loser has to clean the others bedding for half a moon." There! Now there was a reason for Eelfang to try. Truthfully, Russetpounce wasn't at all bothered at the idea of possibly cleaning out a bed for half a moon, after all, he had a feeling it would probably irritate Eelfang if he tried to make it extra comfy, plus if he lost, he could tease him somehow with the bed. Not that Russetpounce planned to lose. [/I]

---------------------------------
Of course there would have to be some kind of reward; Eelfang was happy to rub his skills into another feline's face, but he found it boring to just do so for the fun of it. Mostly. So, once the reward was declared, Eelfang smiled.
A good prize, but this tom was about to double-down on it.
"A full moon," he proposes, confident enough in his abilities to try upping the prize. Afterall, it's not Eelfang could possibly lose - let alone to Russetpounce, of all people. They actually took their hunting seriously, unlike him, who was prone to making a joke out of anything. Whatever. Maybe winning this little competition will finally put the cat in his place.

Coldkit had been sitting within some nondescript part of the clearing, idly grooming the very top of her paw waiting for just about anything to happen. The queens were busy, her siblings were busy, the elders were non-existent and mumma was working as always. A fairly regular day all things considered, if you ignored the fact that she was actually content with her placement for once. Coldkit was rather enjoying her moment in the vast, warm open space that sometimes sent a breeze through her fur and the calm that wasn’t as assaulting to her ears as the sound of Moorkit and Coyotekit’s voices, or the insistent screeching of games her denmates didn’t let her in on.
Oh poor little Coldkit, can’t tell left from right. How will she ever amount to anything? Yeah right. Her breath huffed a small puff of air and she set her paw down to the ground, pondering the very base of her existence. She didn’t often get these quiet moments; she often felt a little hounded, always a pair of eyes glued on her back so she wouldn’t escape on accident. Funny that thought she be cursing through her mind right when a body brushed past hers and a familiar scent filled her nostrils. Great, they had found her. She couldn’t quite place who this was; the scent was too foul to be Rookkit or Rainkit, but not foul enough to be her eldest brother and the other one.
“You. Where are you going?”
Coldkit placed her wild guess, by familiarity it had to be one of her siblings. She didn’t know what this one was up to, but if she was here anyway, the lilac kitten might as well ask what sort of trouble she was planning on causing. Maybe the ever-so-innocent eyeless kitten could get in on it.
