Shadowpaw was FURIOUS. Furious at Lavenderleopard for making her sister jump through brambles, and furious at herself for just letting it happen. She hurried over to where Crowpaw and Shallowpaw was, and shot Crowpaw a look. A look of... Concern, which wasn't a really common expression you'd find on Shadowpaw.
"That-" She hissed through her teeth, glaring at Lavenderleopard and turned back to Crowpaw. "You okay? Nothing too serious? What hurts? Why-why did you do it? Wasn't it real fun, jumping into a bush of thorns?" Her voice was bitter and sarcastic, but it still had a twinge of concern in it. Her dual coloured hues frantically searched Crowpaw for any signs of serious injury.
Please feel free to bump me on any ongoing RPs. I have ADHD and it gets really hard for me to keep track of all my RPs ^^

"Say, would you like to join me for a swim in the river?"
The tom asked kindly, giving a friendly blink to the she-cat. He didn't want her to doubt her hunting ability, so he avoided asking to go for a hunt. "I think feeling the water again will remind you that no matter the injury, you're still just as much of a RiverClan cat as the rest of us." Brokenstream mewed, nudging Sorrelsplash's shoulder gently with his own.
Her ears pricked at the mention of a swim, and she hesitated for a moment before giving a small nod. Maybe she was a little afraid of the water now, but Brokenstream was right, Sorrelstripe was a Riverclan cat through and through. Swimming should definitely remind her of who she is again, and should at least, hopefully, prove that she hasn't changed after the injury and that she was still a wonderful swimmer. "That would be great," She purred.

Rainsong sat in the clearing on the far side of the camp away from everyone else. The blue-gray she-cat with blue eyes had her head on her paws, and staring at the ground. Her mind kept playing the one scene in her head over and over again. The images of her kits, Bluekit and Frozenkit. The she-cat was looking slimmer each day. Her eyes more hollow.

Primroseadder sat on a nearby pile of rocks, her pelt fluffed up against the leaf-fall chill. The thought of letting go of Sleepy Thicket had returned to her mind. Why was Stormstar wanting to let go of it now, when leaf-fall was here and leaf-bare was on its way? The new warrior frowned, her emerald hues scanning the clearing.
She spotted Fawnkit, and he looked bored. An idea came to Primroseadder´s thoughts. Pulling together a ball of moss, the warrior leapt down from her perch and padded over to the pale brown tom. ´´Hi, Fawnkit,´´ Primroseadder purred, setting down the moss ball and nudging it toward him with her maw. ´´If you´re looking for something to do, I´ve got a moss ball we could play with.´´
Primroseadder should be doing something more productive, but she was waiting for the return of Stormstar´s patrol, who had left camp to track and chase down the cat who had injured Cobwebfern.

Fawnkit
The little tom blinked and perked up at the mention of playing a game. Yeah! A game would distract him from his complete and utter boredom. He appreciated Primroseadder’s intuition to notice he was unentertained.
”Sure! I’d love to play a game! Thanks for the offer, by the way. Waiting until I’m an apprentice can be very… mundane, y’know?”
Fawnkit responded, getting up and shaking the cold out of his bushy pelt, smiling happily. He used the word “mundane”, meaning boring, he’d learned, from overhearing a conversation. He’d assumed that was the word meant. He hoped he’d used it right.
"I'm fine." the tom mewed quietly, his white-tipped tail wrapping around his paws. He heard her warm purr and knew she was okay, but still he wondered.
"Have you had anything to eat today?" Songwave followed up, wondering about the fresh-kill pile. He really needed go for another patrol, but he wanted to see if he should eat before he went. And, perhaps Lavenderleopard was hungry too?

The deputy turned her head away for a moment, ears still turned behind her to pick up the mews of Larkwing. With her tail heavily coiled around large paws, the deputy was starting to feel like she'd do much better if she were in a caccon. Hm, but would good would that be? Just because she could fit in tight spaces didn't mean she liked to be in them, so she'd rather just be cold.
After her mind had wandered for a bit, she turned back to the thin she-cat. If anything, Owltalon would've expected cats to scarf down what they could when it came to leaf-bare. A meal always warmed ones stomach, but there was no shame in not seeking that warm, perhaps only wanting flavor. But, with leaf-bare also came the lack of food, so cats might not eat as much to better benefit the whole clan.
She couldn't shake the feeling that Larkwing simply wasn't comfortable around her. She understood that with kits, Beachkit in particular. When he first saw her, she could've sworn he was about to bolt right off that mountain. But, she didn't think that was the case with Larkwing, she'd probably seen worse scars, Owltalon knew that she had. But that was besides the point. What was wanted was a regular conversation.
"Ya don't say..." She tailed off, giving her head a slight tilt. "Wonder if anythin' could help with it. Eh, that's silly ain't it? I merely know of poppy seeds, and maybe moss, but I 'ave no idea what it does. But I'm used ta it, guess it's just a bit more unbearable now that somecat dug their teeth inta my muzzle and screwed it up." The three v one was certainly a battle to remember. "I can barely talk without any form a pain."
Her fire had long since been snuffed out, the fury and frustration and love for her Clan that used to push her forward doused by the very same rivers she loves and replaced with... still love, but that fire doesn't quite burn as bright in the other areas. There is no weight of an entire Clan on her back anymore and that is freeing... and scary... and talking now with Owltalon does little other than remind her of that and of her mother's words to her after she'd been in self-exile. She doesn't want to think that way, though, so she forces herself to square her shoulders and squish down the inadequacy that seemed to want nothing more than to be her sole thought.
"I'm not sure..." she tries, "maybe it's like the elder's joints and old injuries acting up before it rains?" Larkwing tries to force her voice into a light hearted tone, attempting for an easy smile that's harder to achieve than she'd hoped. She frowns, though, at the comment of it hurting just to talk.
"That's not good... I don't really know a lot of sign language, but do you think it might be easier on you to use sign?" It's a genuine question, and Larkwing forces herself not to believe she's overstepping in asking it.

“I can fix her!”
@Marigoldwhisper @gayvinegar
Adderstrike came back from a little stroll when she saw Larkstar sitting by Owltalon. Well she was going to bother Lark anyways. It had been too long since the two of them talked, Adderstrike almost wonder if she stank. Strolling over she sat by the two but before words could leave her lips, Adderstrike became suspicious. It seemed like Lark was getting a bit of a bigger belly but... No no, that couldn't be right maybe... No it was leafbare.
Notcing she came over sat down and opened her mouth to not say anything, Adderstrike figured she looked crazy and pawed at Lark with a serious look, before looking to her belly, then back again. Fantastic Adderstrike, really helping on the not looking crazy bit.

Soaringpaw didn't really know whether or not she'd have to pay attention to the whole drama in clearing- or..well...Soaringpaw had been pretending not to pay attention but she was a hundred percent paying attention to everything being said. It was sort of worrisome how some cats here treat their apprentices; she supposes she was lucky her mentor isn't like that... She wondered how she'd feel being told to go through a bunch brambles, let alone actually follow along and do it. It doesn't seem like a necessary thing to do. No one's gonna force anyone to squeeze through a bunch of brambles in the future to complete a warrior task..at least she hopes not. The more time she spends in this clan the more questionable choices being made she sees. Brokenstream is right. Something about..bad apples or..that.
