Brutus smiled continuing to sit down a new since of pride sat in her chest, as ares went on her tail twitched with annoyance at the mention of cougars or well one cougar one angry mother cougar...How in spirits name would they kill a cougar? Maybe a rockslide, they cant just run up and fight it that would kill just about any cat. Brutus took a breath as she listened on with the meeting, ahh yes Initiates she hadn't seen one reach claw or trapper in a few moons, awful it was and such a shame, but she would take on a few and work them into fighting shape maybe hosting an event would do.
Brutus stood once the meeting was over and ares had called her over to his den.

Brutus entered tipping her head down low as the sent's of the former crown mixed with ares scent, fixing her golden eyes onto her crown she spoke " Thank you ares she meowed again off course she was happy why wouldn't she be, just about any cat would be joyful, did ares feel happy that the sports chose him as crown? she thought taking a seat on the rough stone ground of the den wrapping her tail around her legs. as she waited for ares to talk.

Blood poked his head out of his den to hear better what Ares was saying. Huh, he couldn't hear anything these days. Just how old was he? He just couldn't remember.

Something finally piqued his interest. A cougar? Now's the real deal!

He decided to go out and find Camilla. He needed to make this work, both for himself and for his student.
He nodded at Camilla toward Ares, and lashed his tail to invite her to follow him.

"Now, now. Ares, I need that cougar. I NEED IT. I've always had relatively small bodies to work with, but a cougar! Camilla will finally learn something about our relatives' bodies, and it'll be so much easier to rip apart. I'll conserve the flesh if you need more meat to add on the collected prey, but make sure the cougar will not be smashed, please."

He turned the other way and told Camilla, with a grumpy expression: "So, little soft girl... are you ready for that?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Stretching his tiny legs as he tumbled from his nest, the young tom squeaked excitedly. His fur fluffed up against the ever growing cold, but his eyes sparkled. Today was the day! 'What day?' One might ask? Well, one day closer to him becoming an initiate of course! Sure, he had like, three moons left- but if he lost his drive for it then he would never be good! Gaius made sure he woke up early and trained religiously everyday...

...And by trained, he meant bug the initiates and trappers. Sure, being a Claw seemed fun and was important and all, but a Trapper kept the tribe in tact! They came up with all sorts of neat and creative ways to, well, trap their prey. Plus, Gaius would bet a moon's worth of mice that they knew how to make fun games too. Now to find his next target.
