Nodding at Owlthroat whenever he instructed her, Pondpaw blinked warmly at each one of the five kits that Tuftedtusk had pointed out. ´´Hi, you five,´´ She purred, her thick tail swaying so that they could pounce on it if they wanted to. ´´I´m Pondpaw. I bet that you didn´t know that Tuftedtusk is my mentor, now did you?´´ Her river-blue eyes glittered teasingly, a hint of sadness flashing in them. Pondpaw couldn´t help but turn back to Tuftedtusk, her ears lowering as she whispered, ´´I should be up there, receiving my warrior name.´´

Tuftedtusk's ear flicked and his eyes gleamed with curiousity at Pondpaw's statement. Now that he thought about it, the she-cat should be up there. "Indeed you should," He rumbled, eyes burning into his apprentice's fur. He pulled Mimickit into his paws and rasped his tongue over his only son's head. "Why aren't you?"

Pondpaw winced at the Enforcer´s remark, taking a step back. He had never once been angry with her. ´´Whenever we drove out the rats and snakes, Rookfire got upset because I was trying to help,´´ She mewed, her ears lying flat against her head. ´´I was trying to press cobwebs to a wound that Bristlethorn had and I was thinking about what might have happened if he hadn´t gotten to her in time..´´ A low whimper rolled in her throat. ´´H-He didn´t demote me, and I´m grateful for that, but my ceremony should be in the next moon or two..´´
"I give you your warrior names. Gutspaw, from this moment on you'll be known as Gutsgnaw. We honor your diligence and intelligence and welcome you as a full warrior of ShadowClan." Dawnstar recited after obtaining their promises. She stepped forward to rest her muzzle briefly between the new warrior's ears and stepped back.
"Birdpaw, from this moment on you'll be known as Birdecho. We honor your tenacity and passion and welcome you as a full warrior of ShadowClan." The leader drops her head to touch her muzzle against Birdecho's head before pulling away. She noticed Birdecho's voice changed yet again and honestly had almost forgotten about her little trick. Aside from Sleepysunrises, Birdecho was the only other kit from Lostspark that had reached warriorhood.
Quietpaw should be joining her soon enough and after noticing Quillpaw's expression, she prayed he'd be joining them soon along with Bleedingpaw. Dawnstar wasn't sure about Moonpaw, she rarely saw him. It left this vexing ache that she had so few kits left from Lostspark. It made her worry that she'd deal with the same issue regarding her kits she had already lost one thirteen. Would they dwindle out of existence like her adopted kits?
"Gutsgnaw! Birdecho!" Her roar drowned out her burdensome concerns. Worrying would get her nowhere. All she could do was focus on the here and the now. "Well done you two," She quietly praised before returning to her wooden throne.
By the time she sat down, she expected the cries to die down as she jumped into a new topic. "With the rats and snakes issue dealt with, I'll be lifting the lockdown. You'll not be allowed to leave without another cat, but I'll be permitted cats to come and go without seeking permission from the high ranks or Enforcers. If you're found outside of camp alone, you will still face potential exile or execution. As we still have the owls to handle I don't want cats near the Mourning Ruins until I've taken a patrol to deal with them."
The Queen of Mean would have to wait longer until they could muster the strength to pick a fight with the raptors. She could only hope that giving her clanmates this freedom wouldn't come and nip her in the ass later. #shcmeeting

Shrewstep....hadn't been paying too much attention to the meeting honestly, mostly worrying about how he was going to talk to Clovepool. He had been far too much of a coward to speak to her since the enforcer trial, and had thus had a rather awkward moon. Lots of dodging around corners and pretending not to notice the beautiful, powerful molly out of the corner of his eyes. Trying not to stare, when he thought her back was turned, and failing miserably. He was only a cat, what did you want from him? Wandering eyes aside however, Shrewstep had left her alone. He definitely needed to try and make amends soon though, lest he lose any claim to her altogether. Should probably take Shadepaw out for some training too. Almost absentmindedly, he cheered for Gutsgnaw! Birdecho!, before sneaking another glance around the clearing.

Moonglow cheered for the two new warriors, chanting "Gutsgnaw! Birdecho!" - it was a sign that ShadowClan was only growing stronger, but she was more focused on the lockdown being lifted - she had been growing bored lately, and maybe she could manage to convince somecat to go and wander with her, maybe a walk in the familiar woods would help her clear her mind a bit.
Blackkit pulled away from her dad, Tuftedtusk. Her eyes turned on Pondpaw, narrowing her eyebrows. "Are you a Riverclan cat?" she asked, icy blue eyes stared at Pondpaw. Her eyes shifted back to Tuftedtusk and Owlthroat, she watched both of her dads lick two of her siblings. The she-cat wanted to know the answer but she also wanted both of her dad's attention. "My turn, my turn for a head kiss." Blackkit squeaked.
Honeywillow sat by himself as the meeting went on, he was pretty thankful to be unbothered. The young warrior shook his long pelt before cleaning off his spotted pelt. Dirt was the most awful when trying to keep his pelt spiff and tidy. He wouldn't be caught dead with his fur caked with mud. Unless in battle of course. The tom hummed a tune to himself. Today seems like it is going to be a good day. For him mostly."Ugh, this dirt is sticking to me like a tick." he muttered annoyed a bit.
Shaking the dirt out of his pelt the best he could he grumbled sitting back down. Oh well, maybe he will clean the dirt out another time. Quickly chanting in congratulations. Before remaining seated.

Ever focused ears were turned towards the meeting with single focus, and yet a tingle in her paws proved to be a present distraction as she fought her mind to not only lock onto the ceremonies taking place. Still, widened eyes watched with close intent as Birdpaw and Gutspaw, her little sister and the apprentice-of-weird-words, stood beneath the large perch of their grandmother to receive the names they have been working moons towards getting. Her own heart pounded, vows being stated, Birdpaw speaking a voice she had never heard before - an odd little trick.
Then it came. Gutsgnaw and Birdecho. Birdecho. Air escaped the enforcer's lungs as she forgot to breathe in anticipation, and some odd part of her wanted to move forth and wrap the no-longer-apprentice in her paws. A strange urge reminiscent of all her regrets, but without wait Sleepysunrise cheered on. "Gutsgnaw. Birdecho!"
Her voice rung, a tone louder than it normally would be. Mama would be proud, she couldn't help but think. Mama should be here, the thought moved on. Even as her paws lifted her body off the ground and began its trek in direction of the presumably retreating new warrior, she knew mama should be walking this path. Not her. Mama should be first to congratulate her daughter, not her.
But first or not, an almost nervous - if it wasn't for her composed front - enforcer came to presumably meet her sister half way, tilting her head upwards to press her forehead against that of her sister's in an affection manner. "Well done."
Came a whisper, meant only for the new warrior.
two new warriors. woooow, how exciting. the molly stared straight ahead at the two new warriors. she would get there one day, and she would make miss lostspark proud. that, she knew.
