Quietpaw couldn't hold her bloodlust back for long, and soon dived at a particular aggressive rat. Slamming down her claws on it's thrashing form, it only took a moment for her to dispatch it with a quick bite to the neck. Unfortunately while she was excuting it, another one of the vermin saw fit to attack, pouncing at her in a flash of filthy grey fur and vicious hissing.

A hiss of anger escaped parted fangs. Pain blazes through her veins as the rat latched onto her shoulder seemed intent on biting through off her whole leg. Such a lowly creature dared to make an attemtp on her life...she was in no mood for this. Dropping her weight, Quietpaw fell the the ground, her attacker being stunned by the impact and releasing it's grip. Capturing it in her own tactile jaws, she flung it across the cave leaving it's body motionless. With that one gone she turned to their spawn, snapping at them in furious, swift bites and shredding their nests beneath her claws. Ignroing the blood dripping from the bite. Let this be over with.

As she was swatting a small rat a sharp pain shot up her leg. As fast as she could she swiveled around to find the source of the pain. A rat had taken a good chunk of her leg and was still holding on. With a swift movement she pulled it off. A sudden shudder slipped down her spine as the taste slipped down her throat. She tossed it away. The pain in her leg was started to grow worse. She bite down on her bottom lip to distract her self and turned to the other rats. With a Fierce swipe she dispatched another nest.

As each rat fell, he felt Yellowtwist being avenged. Their bodies lay strewn at his paws and very few remained. All their young were dead. Crunching the last rats spine between his teeth and dropping it with a swipe around his jaws - he would turn to assess his patrolmates. "This battle is won. Who is hurt?" He rumbled, tail flicking as he weaved between them, sniffing each cats pelt in turn.

The battle finally came to a close, and their patrol seemed to have cleared out what had once been a rats nest–no pun intended. The rat that she had snatched up between her jaws died with a sickening crunch, to which she quickly dropped the body. The scent that flooded her senses was pungent, gross, to be specific. She’d probably spend the next moon licking her fur over until she felt clean again. A personal issue of hers.

“I’m feelin’ good and fine, as far as I can tell at the moment.”
