Shellpaw Adoption Contest!!

Threads in Adoption Acres don't seem to get much attention, so here we are. This is different though, because Shellpaw is a character I hold dear, but I just don't have the motivation to roleplay him (as an apprentice).

I'm looking for someone who can complete his training, and then when he's a warrior adopt him back to me. So this is a contest in a way, and who gets him will be divided into 3 categories.

1. Art - You'll provide me with some art of him. Worth 25 points if I like yours the best.
2. Post Example - Provide me with a roleplay example, what a post with Shell would look like. Worth 25 points.
3. Why I Should Pick You - Self explanatory. Just tell me why you think I should pick you to be his new roleplayer! This is worth 50 points.

shellkit is a kind tom. he'll be a very anxious boy, and he often is sad because his mom isn't in the nursery, but he looks up to jayfrost because he's kind of his uncle (idk if he actually is haha).

shellkit tries very hard to be confident, and he kinda is, but he is very clingy to his mom whenever she visits and tries to help out with warrior duties (ex. trying and failing to catch minnows in the shallows, collecting reeds) so that his mom isn't so busy and can cuddle more.

shellkit is a pale orange tabby tom with blue eyes

He's currently 5 moons old, and was accidentally apprenticed early. Roleplay him as if he's 6, but pause his aging till he's actually 6. Once he turns 6 you can unpause the aging. His birthday is every 15th!

Important Info:
His mom is missing/dead since @/Blaaze went on hiatus for around 2 years.
His dad is dead, and he has no living family except his adopted uncle Jayfrost. ( @alec )
He's currently missing, so you'll need to rejoin / jailbreak him.

I've been loving Shellkit/paw as a character for a while now, I've seen him around the site a couple of times and I've absolutely loved him! I would love to take him into my arms!

I am,,, very very active, if that wasn't already obvious. I have almsot 14? 15? Characters at the moment and if you were asking, yes, they are all active and very very dear to me. I don't believe in throwaway characters <3

ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE

((Using my own character Shadowpaw for this as well))

 

Shellpaw stepped out of the Apprentices' Den with a yawn, blinking groggily against the harsh sunlight. After his eyes had adjusted to the light, which admittedly took way longer than he'd wanted, he took a moment the scan the clearing, tail flicking behind him thoughtfully. His gaze fell on a black tabby she-cat a distance away, looking pretty bored. Well, that wouldn't do! It won't hurt to spark up a little conversation, would it? With a happy trot, Shellpaw padded over to the she-cat, a warm smile on his face.

"Heya, how're you doing?" He spoke, tone a little more chipper than usual. Whoops, did he startle her? "I'm Shellpaw!" Yeah, he probably startled her. Oops.

The black tabby stared back at him with widened eyes for a moment, and let out a low laugh. "Shadowpaw," she spoke, returning Shellpaw's smile. "'m doin' swell, yourself?"

Ok, good to know she wasn't one of those grumpy and mean apprentices. Good, good. Shellpaw visibly brightened up at the realisation. "I'm doing good too! But it's getting kinda cold, I don't know how much longer I can do good, haha! Well, phsyically, I mean. I don't really do good with the cold.." He shrugged and let out a nervous laugh, earning a purr of amusement from Shadowpaw.

"Oh, really?" She spoke, her voice low and teasing. "That's interesting. So your thick fur's just for show, huh?" She gently nudged Shellpaw's side with her tail, her eyes narrowed playfully. Shellpaw was almost offended when he realised with a start that she was probably being sarcastic. Silly him. Well, time to be sarcastic back!

"Yeah, yeah! Does nothing to benefit me, really!" He snickered, running a paw across his ear. "But it looks nice on me, doesn't it? It's aaaaalllll about fashion!" Shadowpaw nodded, grinning.

"Riight. Right." She laughed, tail flicking against the ground. Shellpaw smiled. Ooookay, maybe meeting new cats weren't as bad as he thought. Now they're both having fun! It's a win-win!

Aaaaand art!!

 

Ehh,, I'm not the most proud of it, but this is the best I could do with an art program with very limited things to do :[ I may draw him more, though!!
