The kit strutted out of the nursery at the call of her parent. "AUNTIE? Don't we already got one of those?" The she-cat mewed as she sat next to her dads, looking up at the two of them.
Her annoyed expression and abrasive tone masked her true curiosity, with a small glint in her eye being the only giveaway as she stared straight upwards to meet the gazes of the much larger cats.

Sunspot looked for his new apprentice, Burnetpaw. It was surprising to him but he was excited. The fact that he was getting an apprentice whirled around in his mind as he searched for the feline.

Soon, Burnetpaw guessed she had found 'Sunspot'.
So, she approached the cat. "Are you Sunspot?" She questioned.
Pondpaw´s ears drooped. She should be standing up there, with Birdpaw and Gutspaw, receiving her warrior name. But no. Rookfire had gone and ruined that for her just because she had been trying to help. She had fought in the battle as vigorously as she could! That battle was what would have been the reason for her to receive her warrior name, if ShadowClan´s Medicine Cat Apprentice hadn´t thought he couldn´t have used some help. Ears twitching irritably, the blue-gray mackerel tabby caught sight of Talonkit, the she-kit looking a lot like...Tuftedtusk?
With a confused frown, the apprentice got to her paws and padded over to her mentor and his mate. ´´Tuftedtusk?´´ She mewed, her thick, fluffy tail swaying behind her. ´´Talonkit, here, looks a lot like you. Did you and Owlthroat have kits and then not tell me?´´ Her voice was quiet and respectful, though it held a hint of hurt that the Enforcer hadn´t thought to tell her - his apprentice - about his kits.

Olivekit hurries happily to nuzzle into Owlthroat’s fur when the tom ushers them all close. The warmth gives her the security to look with wide-eyed awe at all the cats around them - as well as the two new cats who seem to know her dads. Olivekit’s ear presses up against Owl’s leg, one little paw crossed over another to rest on top of her father’s own as her eyes flit over the apprentice and warrior before them.
It’s her first clan meeting… she isn’t quite sure what’s going on, all that she’s heard beforehand of the ceremonies having slipped from her mind. They have more family? Nightshiver and Olive’s papas always snuggle and play with them in the nursery, but this Doeflame she doesn’t think she’s even seen before. The world is starting to feel a lot larger as Olivekit huddles close to her family and takes in all the unfamiliar faces.

"I am," Sunspot answered, "You must be Burnetpaw. It is nice to meet you." He pushed away his own excitement about being a mentor down and tried to focus on being calm and collected.
Hawkbite had been sitting quietly in the back of the crowd, listening to the normal announcements from Dawnstar. His half-lidded eyes would dance across the crowd, noting each cat that attended and which cats wouldn't. He was mostly paying attention to the Enforcers that decided to show, as per the newest regulations he'd put in place.
His ears perked at the sound of a familiar name, Fishkit. Green eyes widening a little bit, he focused in on his adoptive daughter, tail tip twitching with anticipation now. Then when she received her new name and apprentice, Hawkbite would shout above all the voices so she could hear him, just like a proud father would. "FISHPAW, FISHPAW, FISHPAW!!" Once that was done, he'd settle back down, giving her a slow blink if she looked in his direction. He'd glance over at the next to be named, Gutspaw. An apprentice he worked with a couple times, but was still proud of regardless.

Fogwatcher sat from the side of the camp, watching quietly as his clanmates cheered and listened to the announcements. His own ears were flattened to his head, unamused by the faces in the crowd. His tail flicked beside him, displaying his annoyance, but he'd cheer names as they came. He had to fit back in, right? Maybe he'd start coming back around the clan.

The tom purred at Owl's words. Seeing all his kittens rush up, he would pull Talonkit close to him and lick her tiny head.
"Yes kits. This is your Auntie Doeflame. She's one of my sisters." He would explain. He was only natural they all had questions. They had only really been around him, owl, nightshiver and each other. He would then blink apologetically at Pondpaw.
"I'm sorry, Pond. I've been rather busy with my enforcer duties and these five. They can be quite the handful." He would smile at his apprentice however. "This one here that looks like me is Talonkit. Then we have Blackkit, Mimickit, Olivekit and Yarrowkit." He pointed to each of the kittens as he named them. He was proud to be a father.

Owlthroat turned to Pondpaw, he still wasn’t entirely sure where his feelings lay yet with the former Riverclanner. ”Just make sure you watch where you step, they’re still small yet.” He remained curt, nothing too standoffish but there was a protective edge to his tone.
He leaned down to usher Olivekit closer, not on his watch. Any watery influence wasn’t an option for her and he’d make sure of that. Certainly no swimming, tempting fate wasn’t something he wanted to do. Giving her a soft lick across her head.
Nodding at Owlthroat whenever he instructed her, Pondpaw blinked warmly at each one of the five kits that Tuftedtusk had pointed out. ´´Hi, you five,´´ She purred, her thick tail swaying so that they could pounce on it if they wanted to. ´´I´m Pondpaw. I bet that you didn´t know that Tuftedtusk is my mentor, now did you?´´ Her river-blue eyes glittered teasingly, a hint of sadness flashing in them. Pondpaw couldn´t help but turn back to Tuftedtusk, her ears lowering as she whispered, ´´I should be up there, receiving my warrior name.´´

Eh? Who was this? Pondpaw, huh? Mimickit narrowed his eyes and bit back a snarl at the stranger. Who was this and WHAT DID SHE WANT FROM THEM? The tabby kitten let out a low growl, eyes reducing to slits. Tuftedtusk was her "mentor", eh? Well, he could care less about... Whatever this mentor... Thing was! All he knew about her was that she'd appeared out of NOWHERE and started talking to them! Mimickit wanted to jump at her and teach her a lesson or two, but that didn't seem very logical. He was a kit. She was a... Not Kit. He wouldn't stand a chance with her. As much as he hated to believe it, he was still too small... One day. One day, they will get back at Pondpaw for randomly talking to them. Tiny claws unsheathed, though he showed no signs of attempting to use them. Oh, how wonderful it would feel to just jump on Pondpaw right now... Hmph. Maybe later. He instead turned to Talonkit and let out a hiss, having none of her complaining and LOUDNESS. Ugh, goodness she was SO ANNOYING!
