name: Basilnose
link or info: Basilnose is a friendly and polite cat, would probably be a friend Herring meets after his (Basil's) ceremony.
role: friend or love interest
ideas: while Basilnose is a brand new character I created, he's been recently made a warrior in his lore. perhaps Herringfin assisted Basilnose in training and Basil looks up to her as a result. Maybe they were made warriors together, since in Herring's lore, her ceremony was delayed due to an injury.
example of how they would interact: Basil would be a friendly cat who would say lots of nice things and try to help with Herring's self esteem @Peril

Basil seems great! And I love the idea of then being made warriors together, not sure how old Basil is but I was thinking Herring was made a warrior at around 16-17 moons (3-4 moons ago). If that still works, then that idea is solid! Otherwise, he's still good for a friend and maybe love interest. Depending on how they click.

sounds good to me. basil is 17 moons, so it's fine if he was made a warrior 3-4 moons ago
