He observed, plenty proud as cats slithered from their dens and hobby’s to gather around and form the crowd. More eyes landed on him. Perfect. He stood taller, puffing his chest out a bit as to show his strength. “As I’m sure you all have noticed, the Spirits have accepted me as the Crown of the Atari.” he called. That’s how he decided to start it…now for the Claw of the Crown, right? Then a healer. Mumble was…gone. Blood was still present however, hopefully they could pass on decent knowledge?

“Now, clearly we need some establishment, that of which we haven’t had for quite enough time now. In case it has not been apparent, there’s a cat that I trust to lead. One that has shown great dedication to the Atari, and I believe she’s the correct candidate. Brutus will be your new Claw of the Crown. We will make a journey to the Glimmerall as soon as the Cougar is taken care of.” he called, his gaze landing in the familiar she. Please don’t prove me wrong. He let the cheers for her ring, his voice proudly joining in. “Brutus! Brutus!” he chanted. Now for the next issue. “We, as well, are in a state of having only one healer. Mumble has gone missing. There is a cat that I’ve set my sights on.” he called. She had been family…hadn’t she?…Yes. She was…through Saturn. Plenty of cats had relations with her, different sides of the family and such, but it was through her they were connected.

“If she will accept the role, I expect Blood to train her well. She has shown her kindness, care for others, and ability to learn throughout her life in the tribe. Camilla, if you’d accept, I’d be proud to welcome you to the role of Healer” he spoke loudly, a gentle yet expectant gaze on the she.

Crimson looked at the new Crown and grinned, happy for Ares. When he announced who the new Claw of the Crown was, the she-cat cheered with the rest of the Atari. Crimson went back to silence, as she listened to hear about a new Healer. She was excited for who the Crown had chosen. The she-cat tucked her paws underself, as she listen more.

Camilla listened intently as Ares started speaking. So she was correct, he had be rightfully bestowed the curcial role of crown. She in no way doubted the spirits, she had a deep devotion to them, but still lingering skepticism remained. Mostly Camilla was just expecting his downfall, not wishing for it though, the Atari didn't need anymore troubles...

However, Ares' choice for the claw of the crown was met with approval from her. She'd hadn't interacted with Brutus much but she appeared to be a hardworking member of the Atari, set on providing for them. Truthfully she was pleased and as such she quietly cheered alongside her Atarimates, not one to be loud.

Oh, a new healer? The pretty trapper hadn't imagined that almost all of their higher ranks, excluding blood, would be replaced. Curling her long tail around her legs, Camilla's ears perked with interest as Ares continued. 'Wonder who this lucky cat will be..' she thought. Definitely a prestigious and crucial role, whoever was gifted it sure would have to live up to it.

Ghostly blue hues widened in shock as a name was called out, her name. Those words of praise were...were for her? She had been chosen? The brown, cream and white tabby's mouth fell agape, in total disbelief of what she had just heard. Healers were at the heart of the Atari's family and she...she had been seen fit to be bestowed such a title? To heal her Atarimates...it was surreal

A few moments of taken aback silence washed over Camilla before she finally let her head fall into a bow. "I....I'd be honoured" She breathed, hardly knowing what to say to such a life changing offer. Her chest fizzed with a mixture of excitement and nervousness, imagining all the possibilities, the life of healing ahead of her. Now she could help her clan thrive a bit more than before. The weight of the title weighed on her but she was determined to carry it. She just hoped she could rise to the expectations.

Brutus sat as she turned her head towards aries saying he was going to pick a new claw of the crown ‘ ahh i wonder who’ brutus thought … wait- her?! It was going to be her?’ a smile grew on the she-cats face “ it would be an honor ” she meowed, puffing out her chest with pride as she heard her name ring out around the tribe.

Altair flicked an ear as she watched over the family from afar. Her mind was still wirring from the fact that Nyx... was gone. For now, she adds to herself, knowing that if she were alive or dead, Nyx would return one way or another. She just had to watch the family in her sister's absence, until she can return and onwards.

He smiled and nodded to Brutus as she accepted. He expected nothing less, but was proud. She sounded determined. This couldn’t fail. The tribe would not fail and fall again. Then Camilla. He met her gaze and gave her a reassuring smile. He’d speak to her and Blood later. He hadn’t been to trustful towards Blood, but perhaps Ares simply read him wrong? Mumble was…okay. Camilla seemed like a great choice though, hopefully she wouldn’t be another Atari high-rank failure. Of course though, Ares was a good judge of character (in his opinion) and doubted he had chosen wrong. “May the Spirits approve my choices and watch over these cats, guiding them as need be.” he stated, for all to hear (including- especially those dead). He’d travel to the Glimmerall with Brutus after they dealt with the cougars and…actually he’d have to ask Blood about that. The healer ceremony (if there even was one) was an event he was rather uninformed on. Any high rank ceremony was scarcely spoken of, the cat on trial either returned dead or alive, simple as that.

“As you all know, we have a cougar issue. Helios informed us that the last cub was dead, but now we have a pissed off, hungry, grown mama cougar. She won’t be anywhere near easy to take care of.” he explained, his voice growing darker and his gaze more apathetic and furious. “I don’ quite have a plan yet on our strategy, a few ideas I’ll discuss with Brutus, Blood, n’ Camilla. Either way, I’ll need all cats but the young helpin’ out. Keepers, I’ll talk to ya about my plan for you guys, same with initiates.” Hopefully the initiates could get their full rank before the fight? “Now on, I expect all of you, Claws, Trappers, n’ Initiates alike to train like hell. Practice your speed, agility, n’ fightnin’. Learn from each other, unity is what we need.” if they watched out for one another more…the former two Crowns should be here still. It was disappointing. “I’ll be watching all of your dedication and skill. More advanced claws, start teachin’ other claws n’ trappers how t’ fight.” he ordered, hoping to see some cat take initiative…for yet another idea he had. “Dismissed, Brutus, come to my den.” he ordered, backing off the spire and to his den.

New crown, new claw of the crown, new healer.
Lots of new things.

Not what Mamba focused on though, besides giving the respect that was deserved.
They paid more attention when the cougar was mentioned.
Mamba hasn't had... tasks, recently.
That's what they base their activities on, the tasks they are given.
So, Mamba's been sort of on standby.

Teaching other cats to fight could be something to... do.
And assist against a cougar.

Crimson's tail twitched at hearing about the cougar. She hated the thought of someone, especially the youngins getting harmed. The she-cat looked around before walking away.
