Spottedtai,l a brown and gray spotted she-cat with blue-yellow heterochromia and was a warrior, walks into the nursery and walks over to Firestorm, a pale orange classic tabby with light green eyes, and gives her a mouse
EGRETKIT she/her . 3 moons . dark brown and lilac tabby with dappling with cream markings and blue eyes
[ sticky pads ]
egretkit has no qualms with being snatched for cuddles, immediately latching onto her uncle. "I know!' her impression was so good, it seems she's be labeled as her uncles 'mini-me'. and...what's this?! her mama and papa being afraid of tunneling?! "nuh-uh!" she blurts out, shaking her head in disbelief. "mama and papa aren't afraid of anythin'! right, gracks?" she turns her head to look at her brother, just to see him ferociously attacking the pheasant like it's an evilclan warrior. and then she's being taken on a ride as her uncle stands up.
slipping out of the deputy's hold, egretkit approaches the bird, awing as crowtooth spreads out its feathers. yup, this is what she dreamt about! eating a big ol' bird. she bats at one of the feathers, deciding she'll keep as many as she can..after she gets a taste of it, that is. all the preys she's eaten so far as been pretty small, so this - this was a feast!
she giggles watching gracklekit bury his nose into the birds feathers, only for the feathers to stick to his nose. "don't worry, gracks! I'll get rid of these feathers, just watch." she announces, quickly chomping down on a feather and tugging it harshly until she successfully plucks it - only to land on her rump. she does this a few more times until she has a total of three feathers plucked. plucking feathers is a hard job, she realizes.
so, she simply decides to bite down and hope for the best! tiny teeth digging into the bird, she pulls away with more feathers than meat. "ish good!" egretkit informs after spluttering out the feathers and eating the actual meat of the pheasant.
"No, silly, there is no success or failure in mossball. It's just a game, and there's only fun." Whistlekit meows cheerfully. "You can throw it back if you want."
She hadn't talked to Leopardkit a lot. It was because the kit didn't seem very excitable or friendly, and Whistlekit had been preoccupied with chatting with kits that were. Not that Whistlekit had a problem with broody cats; they usually hid a lot of interesting secrets. Maybe they could become friends! And maybe, Leopardkit could help her fight back against the snooty, annoying kits in the nursery. Jaggedkit, Frostkit, Freezekit, Cardinalkit, she could go on and on.

"Oh." The cat's ears flicker as they pat at the ball a little, as though they had never seen anything like it before. Obviously, this wasn't the case - but that won't stop Leopardkit from being a peculiar little thing.
Pulling up the mossball with the support of their mouth, Leopardkit finally tosses it back.
"Who are the snowykits?" They ask, voice rather dry and without emotion.
Believe it or not, Leopardkit HAD been listening! To a certain extent. The spiteful tone of Whistlekit while addressing the group had intrigued Leopardkit into listening for a little while... Not before zoning out again, at least.
