Starrypaw walked silently to the medicine cats and another cats Starrypaw didn't know if she ever saw around the clearing. Riverclan was so big, now, that she often wondered if their territory could really feed them through the harsh seasons. What she feared most of all, though, was the lack of fish on their prey pile...
which meant hunger for her.
She quickly reached the three cats, closing her eyes and slightly bowing her head to greet them without a word. The medicine cat seemed really close to Cobwebfern, and once again Starrypaw felt a pang of pain for all the cats who had abandoned her, the last being her first mentor. She forced herself not to believe in the second one.
Berryshine's suggestion was totally fine. It wasn't like her or Marigoldpaw could lead the party, so there wasn't much choise remaining. She nodded briefly while staring at the chosen apprentice.
