He had simply been resting his eyes in the Warriors Den, his recent fight and injuries exhausting him. He still had yet to make a decent recovery from the dog fight, now he had to worry about the otter injuries as well, but those were just a few scratches.
He sought company, that of which was somewhat familiar to him. He opened his eyes and sat up, stretching out all his sleepiness and soreness before his gaze scanned over the warriors den. OwlTalon? He had yet to formally congratulate her and such. Hell…they didn’t speak that much, but for some reason she just felt…familiar. Honestly, it was the same way he felt around RaccoonSun when she first came to the clans. He didn’t know what this was from though, she was simply, a clanmate, right?
“OwlTalon, hope I’m no’ disturbin’ ya’? Wanna say congra’s! I’s been a while, Tha’s my bad!” he apstated, his words kind and gentle.
Owltalon wasn't usually one to lie. Okay... Yeah. She fell asleep. Resting ones eyes was pretty hard when sleep had already been weighing down on the very marrow of her bones.
Heavy matted fur rested in the cool air of the warriors den. While it wasn't completely warm, not yet anyways, it was certainly better than whatever might be going on outside, AKA a recipe to get her flank frozen off. She didn't dream of anything, as she often didn't. Her mind merely wandered and no pictures formed in her mind. Bur words did.
Fuzzy words that churned in her ears, like she was trying to hear over the lap of waves and the call of seagulls. Wait a moment... That's what she heard every day. She did live in Riverclan after all, it would be kinda hard to not hear that. Fluff filled ears perked at the sounds of wispy mews, as though this cat was whispering.
With a deep inhale in her nose, she recognized the familiar scent of Rowanmane. Who, of course, smelt like any other Riverclan cat, but really? Everycat, regardless of clan, had some sort of unique twang to their smell. Owltalon herself wasn't sure what that scent was for her, but that was besides the point. Plus, Rowanmane could be identified in other ways, like his voice cadence. Stars above, she was getting sidetracked. The Lionheart probably needed her. She needed to get up.
She nearly missed the first part of his sentence, but she got most of it. A... Congratulations? A faint smile tugged at her battered maw. She had been congratulated at the meeting of course, but it was still nice to hear. The fact that she even got the position was somewhat unreal.
"Nah, chap. Yer all..." She cleared her throat and a few coughs followed that. "Ahem, yer all good." She unhinged her jaws in a yawn, her eyes clouded hazily. Goodness, how long had she slept? It couldn't of been that long, right? "How've ya been, eh? Congrats ta ya as well."

He finally returned after his trek, the bundle of the 4 small purple flowers held carefully in his jaw. Hopefully he hadn’t accidentally damaged them? They had all been connected to the same step, simply tiny little purple petals. Now he had to find her…WisteriaWren…Wisty…Wendy Bird. Where could she be? Finally he found her, padding up to her carefully but happily as to not startle her in any way.
“Hey Wis’eriaWren…brough’ ya back somethin’?” why, his statement sounded more like a question. Probably him simply hoping…debating if she’d even accept the small, pathetic flower bunch. Was this a dumb idea? Goodness…He simply sat there, the flower hanging from his jaws as he looked at her, silently praying she’d accept. Why was he so anxious that his anxiety clouded the reality of her personality?

Nightweb, now having his warrior name back, stepped into the Warrior's Den, his deep amber eyes landing on his nest. He was happy to have his rank back. The warrior padded towards his nest and flopped over into it, sleepily. Nightweb closed his eyes, feeling warm and cozy.
The sun and yet to creep into the sky and flood the camp with light, the atmosphere was still quite, aside from the snoring of his denmates and a cold gust of wind hit the stone outside the apprentice den. Aspenpaw stretched both his forepaws out infront of him, arching his back in a stretch and yawning before seating himself again and bringing a dark grey paw to his face. Aspenpaw, for once, groomed his fur flat before heading out the den into the cool morning air. The sky was a pale color and yet the sun still wasn't out.
The clearing was mostly empty, cept for the one or two other cats already picking a spot in the clearing to spend the rest of their day. Aspenpaw made a beeline for the den closest to the apprentice den, this is where all the Warriors slept. He understood how some didn't like being woken up early so he would be as quiet as he possibly could. He didn't go to far into the den after going through the entrance seeing as the warrior he was looking for still slept relatively close by.
He had thought it over and realised that Fadingstar wouldn't have made seabreeze a lionheart for no reason, despite both cats in question weren't very good at their rank that didn't mean seabreeze didn't have anything to offer. Maybe he was insanely good at fighting? Or prehaps hunting. Either or he didn't mind, as long as he was learning something it was good enough to him.
As quietly as he could wake up a cat, aspenpaw kicked Seabreeze in the side hoping to wake up the Tom. Unsure if that would be enough to gain the ex lionhearts attention he proceeded to prod at him with his paw

Truthfully, Wisteriawren found it funny that the cat she'd been in here looking for had been the one to find her instead. Turning at the sound of Rowanmane's voice, the former kittypet felt a soft, shy smile spreading over her face. "Good morning." She offered quietly in return, and then gave in to the unexplainable need to bump her head against his shoulder. For a few moments she lingered there, registering just how difficult it was to make herself pull away, and then finally leaned back to look at the gift Rowanmane had brought her.
Flowers. Oh, the prettiest little purple flowers. They reminded her of Greta's garden and the wisteria tree that grew there - Wisteriawren hadn't visited the place in so long. "Thank you." If anything, her expression lights up even more. "They're beautiful, thank you Rowanmane. I love-" Her gaze lifted to his. "-them." Coward. She was a coward as she allowed her gaze to flit away. "They remind me of the garden my Greta - my upwalker and I used to visit."
While Weepingwind speaks, Larkwing takes a small bite from the perch, sharing in the prey and the conversation in a way that she hasn't been able to for some time now. It's... nice. It makes her miss Birdsnow, and Wither, and Falconfeather, but it's nice. The older warrior's assurance that she'd be back preforming her duties before she knows it is kind, but it doesn't quite ring true. It will still be a long while before she's once again placed on patrols, but it'll be a little sooner that she's allowed to leave camp.
"Can't come soon enough," she agrees, "I'm... alright. I've been better." When was the last time she truly felt 'alright'? Before she was made deputy..? A season cycle ago? Stars, has it really been that long? "Not looking forward to the cold."

Goodness…as the she bumped up to him he felt a swarm of butterflies form in his stomach. He leaned down and licked her forehead lightly…honestly without thinking. But hell, really…what was he doing? She was just…a friend. So why did he feel this way?…This question would linger in his mind. “Mornin’” he said warmly to the cat that he just…he didn’t even know. He never felt this emotion before, how could he identify what it was?
As he saw her light up upon seeing the flowers, so did he. She was happy with them! This brushed away his worries with ease. “Of course- I thought’ of ya upon seein’ them…” he stated, hoping to somewhat show how much he cared. Then his heart skilled a beat. ‘I love-‘…he didn’t know what he expected her to say…what could she? Other than complimenting the flowers he delivered there wasn’t anything else she could say she loved. What was he holding his breath for then? What was he hoping would happen? “Tha’ sounds swee’…wha’ was it like…bein’ a kittypet?…May I ask…what happened?…Why you aren’ still?” he questioned, ears perked as he was truly intruiged.
