Hmmm…she should get to training her newest apprentice huh? She had DawnPaw reassigned to her, and now HiddenPaw was added onto that bunch. She could handle them, the question was could they handle her? A Warrior the size of an apprentice, and the energy of a kit.

She pranced over to the apprentices den, actively searching for the younger cat. “Ah, HiddenPaw!” her gaze lit up when she spotted the cat. “Oooo- your fur is so pretty! And you keep it so nice—oops, sorry. Off-topic huh? Well, I’m OrangleFlower, and I’m glad to be your mentor.” she introduced herself kindly, her fluffy tail high in the air.

Hiddenpaw knew they'd start training sooner or later. She'd hoped for a mentor that wouldn't be too strict on her, and it did seem like she got exactly that. They watched as Orangeflower padded into the den and brighten up as she took sight of them. Seems like a nice cat, after all.

"O-oh- uhm- th-thank you..." Hiddenpaw smiled shyly, looking away and to the side at the compliment. They were, in fact, also glad they'd gotten Orangeflower out of all cats as their mentor. They seemed nice enough.

“Of course!” she grinned her big, happy grin, simply reeking of purity and innocence. “So, much to my lateness, have any other cats trained ya yet? Or are you starting brand new?” she questioned curiously, starting to lead the way out of the den and into the clearing.

She was glad to do her best and pass on knowledge to the younger, it always seemed to be a fun task for herself (and probably scary cause if anything happens to the gem of an apprentice Orange would be so so sad).

The blue and golden braided tabby let out a small, nervous laugh at their new mentor's enthusiasm. Oh, wow. How long could she possibly keep up the positive attitude?

"Uh- I-I'm new," she murmured. "No training yet.."

She nodded, gaze bright. “Ah, alright then! I suppose hunting could be a good place to start then?…Yes probably. Battle is all mean n’ stressful!” she paused and considered a moment. “Well…we can’t really leave camp just us two…” and would it be awkward to ask DogChase? She wished for more outings with the tom but…she didn’t want to bother him, especially not with her own duty as a mentor. Perhaps she’d be as lucky as to have a few pieces of prey wander into camp? Or at least she could teach HiddenPaw crouching, pouncing, and targeting. “Alright, we’ll go over there- looks quiet enough.” she flicked her tail to a quiet corner of camp and started her way over.

Hunting? Oh, would that mean she'd have to sink her claws in small animals? Was this... Really necessary?
Of course it was. She was a wild cat. She should know how to hunt. She nodded quickly and padded after Orangeflower, her long, fluffy tail flowing behind her like a river.

“So! A hunting crouch!” she started off, pure happiness at getting the opportunity to teach a cat on her face. She started to demonstrate, lowering her body to the ground and allowing her tail to hover above the ground. “Try and keep your body as low as you can go, without touching the ground that is!”
